You’ll find a long queue on the phones - mine was 80 minutes this morning. There won’t be any appointments. Two doctors working today. Remember the days when there was a full compliment of doctors? The list on the wall? They’ll recommend the pharmacy. If you go to the pharmacy you’ll find the health centre car park empty, the doctors spaces empty and the waiting room with maybe the odd one or two person on the few seats they have left (they’ve removed most of the waiting room seating, obviously don’t feel a need for it). The pharmacy felt I needed to see a doctor. I went to Fleetwood walk in centre. 35 min drive. No parking, took me 15 mins to find a space in town and a further 15 mins to walk there. I don’t get paid when I’m not working and I pay an awful lot of NI and tax. I agree with previous review - the system is designed to make it as difficult as possible to see a doctor. This is not a service. It’s designed to put you off attempting to seek the help you expect and have paid for.

I am appalled at the level of communication the receptionist have with patients!!!! The rudeness and arrogance is beyond anything I have ever experienced, I would not recommend this surgery to anyone, unfortunately this is the only one in the area which is a shame because even the doctors can’t diagnose a patient!!!!

The standard of care here is appalling and has declined over a number of years - no appointments with drs - no manners or caring attitudes in staff - reception staff shocking in their treatment of patients - something needs to change!

Impossible ro get an appointment..and do they care no they don't. Total waste of time trying to get past the receptionist. Why have a GP practice when you can't see or even speak with a GP. Any other buisness if run like this would be hauld over the coals and ordered to get their act together...poor standard of commitment to patient care.

It is very difficult to get an appointment with a doctor and I could only get appointments with nurses. This was after spending a long time ringing up. Gives the impression that it’s not coping with demand.

It has taken two hours on the phone to get through in the morning. Having got through they have been unable to give me an appointment. They have told me all appointments have gone and to try again the following day. When I have tried again they have no appointments. The last time I rang with ear ache they said to go to a call in centre or try again the following day. They have no appointments for two weeks and won’t book you in for two weeks time! I have been a patient for years without ever troubling this health centre. I only ring when in dire need , but it makes no difference. The receptionists are not apologetic .

I called the surgery to book an appointment to see a doctor. I haven't needed to see a doctor for 8 years. I was in a que for over 50 minutes on the phone being 21st in the que. When I eventually got through there were no appointments left for that day. I was told I could go to a walk in centre if it was urgent or tonally back the next day and try and get an appointment. I was also offered an appointment a week later at another surgery which I took as I would never have been able to see a doctor as I work during the week and this was the first day of my holidays. Are.there only 20 appointments each day? My condition isn't urgent at the moment but left untreated I would end up using A and E at hospital. The surgery is shown as accepting new patients. If you can't see the patients you already have why are you accepting new ones.

Been on the phone for 1hr 38 mins when a message came on saying they was having problems at their end and to try later , no its 12,34 and their having lunch so stop the phones started at position 17nand was 2nd in line when it cut off . tried earlier also and couldnt get through .This practice is getting terrible no appoitment's ever

I’ve tried ‘phoning in the afternoon, then told to phone after 8am in the morning, then tried 120 times between 8am and 10am…….hopeless. When I did get through I was No22 in the queue. Tried more times, then 15 in the queue. Tried emailing but no response. I’ve not seen a GP more than half a dozen times in the last 10 years, but these days, especially after covid restrictions, it seems like they’re not interested in seeing patients face to face. In fact I’d go further. It seems like they’ve designed their system to be as difficult and off putting as possible. I thought it was supposed to be a “service”, but the reality is a million miles from that!

Went to make an appointment but was told there wasn't any and to ring the following day or go to a walking center! Been a patient for over 35years and it's been excellent in the past ,apart from the pharmacy and there staff who are really helpful the rest might as well shut down.
