I was in Cromwell hospital on 5th Sept 2023 sent home 6th Sept 2023 No Pre admission checks , nothing explained about my procedure had my Apple I phone head phones stolen Need them replaces , worse service ever , rushed out asap with no results would not reccommend at all

My 3 year old came in for grommets insertion due to glue ear and adenotonsillectomy. She had been a very quiet, shy, withdrawn girl for so long. She had speech delay and we had queried for a while if she could hear us. Her preschool voiced the same concerns and we pushed to look into this asap. Once Cromwell confirmed that she had moderate glue ear, we booked her in for her operation. From start to finish the care she received was amazing. Alongside this, the reassurance I received from the team on the Paeds ward, nurses, doctors, anaesthetist, the consultant and his secretary was fantastic and so needed in a scary and upsetting time. Since her initial tough couple of weeks recovering, her speech and hearing have improved so much. I see her personality and bright bubbly character shining through. She is no longer exhausted, withdrawn or silent. Her speech is clearer, she is happier and more outgoing. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for giving my daughter a bigger brighter smile and a happier outlook on life and the world around her. Such a brief visit with you guys but you’ve made an impact on our lives that you can’t imagine.
