    I've been on hold currently 1 hour 21 minutes, over 45 minutes of being currently caller number 1 in the queue, this isn't good enough. It's impossible to get an appointment online and they simply don't answer the 'phones.

    The staff and consultant were phenomenal but I was never told children under 16 were not actually treated within the Cobham clinic. I pay a lot for private medical insurance as my son has additional needs. I was on a ward with other children and my son was only offered a sandwich and carton of juice for lunch. There was no support for parents at all and was actually appalled. The nurses on the other hand were phenomenal. On leaving my child needed medication which I never got and as the system was down had no discharge papers. The next morning he was in a lot of pain but had no number to call to help me and tried contacting the clinic and ward but no answer so my son was in pain all day and had to wait till Monday to get an appointment with my GP to help him which is unacceptable whether private or NHS. I am so proud that we have the NHS in this country but due to my child’s needs I do pay for private insurance. I was actually appalled with the service and the way we were treated. Again I can not fault the nurses and the surgeon and all the other staff that helped with his care but the facilities and the follow up care and support once we left were beyond appalling. I pay to have a service and this was not received. I would never recommend the Cobham Clinic to anyone after this experience.
