  1. Review titled Good except for one thing…

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I arrived after calling 111 and speaking to a nurse who recommended I go to urgent care ASAP. I had a suspected kidney infection, and was seen fairly quickly (within 2 hours). However, when I arrived, the receptionist was completely disrespectful and questioned why I was there and why I didn’t call my GP (it was a Saturday). She did not take my problem seriously and was also on the phone during our whole interaction. Surely a place where people who are in pain / distressed etc come to, should be a place where they are greeted by staff with compassion and kindness??? She was horrible!

The nurse (who I wish I could name) was amazing. Completed a very thought examination. Was very personable and friendly. Felt that we were the only people she needed to see today. Amazing Thank you

  4. Review titled Very happy with my treatment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I attended the Urgent Care Centre this morning after being advised to by a doctor on NHS 111. I’d stubbed my little toe, it was very painful and I couldn’t put weight on it. After a wait of under 2 hours I was seen by a lovely doctor who sent me for an x-ray as she thought there might be a dislocation. X-ray was quick and confirmed the doctor’s theory. She then numbed my toe and manipulated the bone back into position. Another x-ray confirmed this had worked. I can’t fault the treatment I received, right from the moment I completed the online 111 request. Thank you
