The nurse l must say was absolutely brilliant, I can’t spell her name. l suffer with claustrophobia and she was putting me at ease, until another nurse turned up and seemed to take over and promptly said you only have a small window to do this and you might not be able to have it done. When your stressed and in pain you don’t want to hear that, she undone all the calming me down before the MRI so l had a panic attack and had to get out and start again, the lovely nurse she helped me calm down again and kept asking if l was ok all the way through it. MRI on my lumbar spine and hips/pelvis, they only did my lumbar spine because the box wasn’t ticked for both, admin error l don’t know. Well the reason I’m typing this is nurses don’t get the recognition they deserve, specially when you find a caring one, giving her praise was the least l could do. I could be one in hundreds she might have treated on Friday 24th November mine was 10am but l hope the management pat her on her back for being so understanding of my feelings.

Very good staff, from ward nurses to theatre staff. I went as a day case for pain management for my back. All the staff were careful to explain exactly what was happening, and as I was very stressed when I was going into the theatre they took time to reassure me, and comfort me during the procedure. I was also very pleased with the sandwiches and tea that I received afterwards. The physio gave me advice on what exercises to do after wards. They gave me a follow up appointment before I left the hospital which which saved me worrying about when I could see the doctor again. It’s a very clean well run hospital.

Attended for pain relief injection in my back and was put at ease with the whole procedure and excellent staff in all departments

Had surgery on right shoulder rotator cuff. Excellent service brilliant surgery. Excellent phisio for rehab. Would highly recommend.

I attended for a private MRI scan on 15/2/23 which was needed urgently for a private consultant. Despite my telling the scanning reception exactly who it should be sent to (I also wrote down the consultant’s address and email) they never bothered to do anything. Result - hundreds of pounds wasted seeing the orthopaedic consultant without the MRI scan. Useless and inept hospital bureaucracy. Shall never go to the Sloane again.

This hospital needs to sort out its admin. So many errors were made when booking me in for appointments and tests, it's no longer 'a simple mistake' but a catalogue of error and poor admin. I have no faith that any of my details and results are correct, and that therefore I'll get the treatment I need.

Went into the Sloane Hospital yesterday for a days treatment on my lower back for Pain Relief, everyone there is absolutely amazing from Reception, the nurses on the ward who take care of you, the Doctors and all he’s staff that help you go into theatre to have your procedure, they talk to you all the time, they triple check everything with you, they explain everything to you before hand and during. Highly recommend this hospital.

I have been attending physiotherapy appointments since late September, following a minor surgical procedure on my left hand. The physiotherapist looking after me is highly professional, helpful, informative, courteous and caring and I am extremely grateful.
