Attended the mobile mri at The Kings Oak today. I am claustrophobic and the staff and radiographer were very patient and helpful . Much appreciated

I attended Kings Oak on 24 January 2023. I found the place really welcoming. All the staff and nurses were extremely professional and very respectful. I am grateful for their service.

I was treated at this hospital as a day patient, on arrival was greeted by receptionist who was very friendly and immediately put me at ease, after filling out form she then escorted me to my room and made me feel comfortable also explaining the nurse would be with me shortly. The nurse arrived very friendly and explained what would be happening during my stay he was very efficient. The anaesthetist consultant arrived and inserted cannular and asked a few questions she was amazing I never felt a scratch On arrival to Theatre I was greeted by Anaesthetic odp who was very caring and immediately made me feel very comfortable, the two nurses who were there was fussing around me and were very attentive. The surgeon arrived had a few words with me asked if I was comfortable and any questions, I replied no because he had already dealt with any concerns I had. After operation I was wheeled back to my room and given drinks and sandwich that I had ordered earlier which I was expecting to be dried out but was amazed how fresh everything was. My surgeon came in to see me and said every thing went to plan with no problems. Very experienced and professional man in my opinion. The nurse came and wheeled me to entrance where my lift home was waiting. I would not hesitate to recommend this hospital, if it was a Hotel I would rate it 5 Star M Wheeler
