    After having MRI report my Dr diagnosed my knee condition and referred me to Ravenscroft to look at treatment options, was told partial knee replacement would be needed at some point. Had to chase up to get an appointment then when I got there the receptionist ignored me, I then spotted a sign (lost in a sea 9f other signs) saying to use self check in. When I met consultant they completely contradicted my Dr and said it was very minor, take a couple of paracetamol for pain and eat a banana if I continue to get cramps in my legs!!! Fobbed me of with same exercises I've been given before saying it will clear up in 6-8 weeks...I've had thos for 20+years and the exercises haven't worked yet! I have been referred to speak with surgeon as they noted I wasn't happy with their response. I had to chase again (multiple times) to get the appointment. I am going to see what they say but feel I may have to save up and go private because the system seems very broken.

    I was referred to Ravenscroft by my GP for a left shoulder rotator cuff injury diagnosed by both symptoms and MRI. Ravenscroft administered a steroid injection having only asked me one question that was did I want one, with no physical exam made to assess me. The injection failed to help the pain and limited movement. They were obstructive in organising physiotherapy for the problem and subsequently when my GP tried to refer me for a surgical opinion Ravenscroft interfered saying they had to assess me yet again, by phone, for this referral to happen despite me meeting the NHS referral criteria. My experience with Ravenscroft was horrendous, I spent a lot of time trying to organise medical care and often while in floods of tears. I'm still in pain but now also upset at feeling like my pain and debilitation was exploited by them. I will never accept treatment from Ravenscroft in future and sadly cannot recommend them at all.

    I was highly satisfied with my session. It was sensitive, informative and extremely helpful. I have had my condition for over 40years and this has been the very first time it has been explained to me and what I am to expect in the future. An exercise plan has been devised and it is now up and running. Extremely delighted and positive about my treatment%. Thank you.

    I was first referred to Ravenscroft in Oct 2022 and after numerous emails I finally got to speak to someone in March 2023. The Practioner I spoke to seemed unsympathetic about the pain I was experiencing and my concerns over having a serious fall. I mentioned several times both my GP and Physiotherapist had both said I needed surgery and to be referred to hospital. He basically told me that I was too fat to be sent to my local NHS/Private clinic so it would have to be the main hospital. A month later I have finally been referred to hospital, my referral to hospital is dated as the same day I spoke to Ravenscroft, which means I have another 5 month wait to see anyone at the hospital, in the meantime my condition is getting worse and I have fallen twice since my conversation with them. This is unacceptable as it is beginning to have a massive impact on my day to day life as well as my mental wellbeing!

    When I called the clinic they took 25 minutes to even answer the phone today and I was then told that it takes them 6 weeks to write and send a referral - this is shocking. There was not even any apology over that level of delay, and it was stated like I should just accept it. If this was a private company the admin staff would be fired. People come to Ravenscroft because they are in pain and to delay their treatment due to bad management and administration is not acceptable. This clinic is a poor link to delay referrals from GP to hospital. Its service is useless and a waste of taxpayer's money Atrocious clinic and attitude

    My experience was worth the wait and I learnt more about my knee problem in one consultation than I had from 3 Dr visits.

    I'm sorry to have to leave a review like this but I think its important that members of the public have a fair review. I'm so disappointed with how long it has took in getting any kind of treatment. Since I was referred in August last year I've got to step two and had a consultation and telephone call from the person who did my consultation around October/Nov I believe was the last time I heard from them. It takes forever for them to answer your call when I've witnessed two receptionists taking there time to answer calls as they get up and disappear forever. I'm waiting to see the consultant to discus treatment and a referral for some kind of surgery as I've lived in constant pain for 23 years. I've had to constantly chase things up which isn't fair. I appreciate that they are swamped with patients but polite friendly staff wouldn't be a bad idea?? Sorry to be so negative but I speak from experiencing this first hand.
