    My husband has chronic COPD I called for an appointment but was told non available I phoned at 8am as instructed but nothing available I put in prescription request on 7th December it hasn’t arrived at pharmacy Phoned practice twice and they said they would sort it nothing to date As you can see running out of inhaler is not good

    Called at 8am, got through at 8:20, to be told no appointments available for my baby. Was told to go the walk in centre instead. As my baby was vomiting I didn’t feel sitting in walk in for an undetermined amount of time was best, so called 111. 111 offered me a telephone appt at the practice. The same practice that refused to offer me an appt despite there obviously being one available as 111 booked it! It just shouldn’t be this much of a fight to receive care for our children, never mind ourselves. Reception don’t seem to care and can be quite obstructive. I just don’t understand why I’ve had to spend 20 minutes of my day on hold to the surgery then 35 minutes on hold to 111- so 55 minutes in total trying to get some kind of medical care, when all I want to do is care for my child.

    Almost impossible to get a face to face appointment at this doctors surgery. I think this GP surgery needs to invest in an E-consult surgery & actually allow patients to use their online service to book appointments - like it is advertised. Honestly, really disappointing service if you require a face to face appointment. Partner was referred by 111 for a call with the Doctor. Rang hours later as no call had been made, only to be told they didn’t actually have her on the list. When they explained that they needed to be called, the receptionist told them “it may be too late now” as it was a Friday evening. Inappropriate response.
