    We have moved to this GP practice from one which we were not happy with. A few friends recommended Upton and as we live here it made sense to be able to walk. We even had two GP’s we know who are patients here recommend too. What a fabulous joined up practice this is. Reception staff friendly and helpful, pharmacists experienced and helpful, and the doctors we have seen have been thorough, friendly and they don’t rush you. When needed we have got an appointment the same day and when not urgent within two weeks. For less urgent issues the GP pharmacists and nurses offer advice and share results on the phone via appointment. Calling in the morning is easy and the callback service works well. We are so happy we have moved to this smaller and more personal practice. Couldn’t rate this practice more highly

    It’s quite shocking really I was unable to get appointment Went for private ultrasound to find out I got a lump on my breast Receptionist told me to try to get a appointment the next day Not great at all if you can not being Seen by the doctor when you really need to I will try book appointment on Tuesday and see if I be lucky enough to get one

    Ordered my prescription, actually had to do it twice before it was received. Then it was discovered they had issued a wrong strength with one of my meds. There had been a change of staff in the prescription team and things have gone drastically down hill. They need to realise that knowledgeable staff can be a great benefit. Surely the medicines team should know what they are talking about and they very obviously don’t!!

    The E Consult system is a waste of time, cant access it, told it was not working three weeks ago, tried again today to be told “I think it is up and running at either 6 or 6.30, I don’t know”, 6 50 still cant access it, so have to try to phone in the morning, but know probably wont get through. Will be looking for a new GP practice.

    What good is a GP when you have to call 43 times and still not get through. The e consult service is an absolute joke. Might as well close the doors it's a waste of space! Rewind a couple of months, an error with my date of birth on the NHS app has still not been fixed! 4 times I have tried, so now when I go for COVID vaccination or any other service I have to remember to dates of birth because I'm never sure which is the correct one recorded.

    I have just suffered a dreadful telephone consultation we’re I was able to hear the doctor swear three times as I asked him questions about my health this is appalling given these people are funded by tax payers to provide a professional service. They have completely forgotten that they are dealing with people who have concerns. They avoid as much as possible face to face contact and have been extremely discourteous to me.

    This is my Surgery that I am registered to. I have an offer of employment from a job that requires a medical form completing by a Doctor. The form needed completing within 2 weeks, otherwise I cannot start new employment with the company as I need to go through company Human Resources to review the information provided. I appreciate this is an out of hours service, but I was told up to 8 weeks wait for a form to be completed and you have to pay for this service. I think this is a terrible response from the practice. I have now been forced to seek a private doctor who needs to see my own medical records so have then had to request this from the practice. They don't seem to care that in this climate you could lose an offer of employment. Their lack of help and empathy in this situation is absolutely zero. I hope they are never in this position where they require assistance of this nature from a service. I rang the practice on 4 separate occasions to explain the situation and you can tell your pleas are falling on deaf ears. I even spoke with the practice manager who really couldn't care less either. If your thinking of registering here, i really wouldn't bother. You would probably be waiting 8 weeks for your registration forms to be completed.

    Receptionists have always been helpful along side having empathy when explaining my need to speak to a GP. Always been able to get an appointment, and normally the same day. GPs have always been excellent, and understanding even with just offering reassurance and advice over the telephone when required. Practice has good parking and is always clean and well organised. I've moved around a lot and been under many practices, this one being the best by far.
