  1. Review titled Excellent practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I Attended the surgery in severe pain, the Dr I seen was amazing, I had to go to the hospital and this was sorted out for me by the Dr. She was so helpful and understanding, really appreciated it, can’t find words to say how good she is. The whole surgery is the same, when you ring up, they are always pleasant, and sort out what you need.

  2. Review titled Uncertainty

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Hello my appointment with a dr was cancelled this morning and was referred to a health practitioner. If I hadn’t cancelled this appointment that would have been the third appointment with a health practitioner for the current issue. Whilst I have no issues with the nurse practitioners I would like to be referred to a specialist and am unaware they have that authority. If you can assure me they do have authority then I would re book. Disappointed

  3. Review titled Brilliant Service - recently..

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by John L - Posted on 27 January 2023

Been with Park Street for almost 6 years. Sad to see Dr go who was my GP who has retired. Things were a bit touch and go after that, and the reception staff have always been stroppy but got worse, and the previous manager didn't seem to care about their attitudes despite bringing it to her attention several times, phones would ring whilst I would be sitting at reception with the managers standing there and letting it happen. However, last couple of months things have been a lot better. Also really glad to see the new permanent GP's here who are absolutely lovely, and really care, going out of their way to help. For people who need the service a lot, its quite easy to see that changes they are making to the Practice are working, and when everyone screaming about how bad the NHS is, its important to recognise where things are good. Reception staff still need to be politer and more effective in answering phones, but glad to see the changes.

  4. Review titled Very poor

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Michael John Warren - Posted on 01 November 2022

I have been a patient at this surgery for over 30 years and have never known their service to be as shockingly poor as it is now. My wife and I have had a number of poor experiences with Park St over the last few months. The latest was yesterday when I called in to request an appointment and was offered a telephone appointment in 7 days time or a face-to-face appointment in14 days time. Both of these were with a locum and not with a permament member of staff. These response times are just not acceptable. The current partners need to take a long hard look at this practice and sort themselves out. Are the GP's now all part-time? They should be also looking at how patients are dealt with at first point of contact, whether on the telephone or in reception because it's not good.

Rang up to make an appointment as I found a lump on my chest they then got a doctor to ring me she then offered me an appointment then hung up the phone before I could accept it so I rang the practice who said a doctor would ring me still had no one ring me back all day took me ringing 111 worried to speak to another doctor who gave me an appointment. So it took me nearly a week and many phone calls to different places to be offered an appointment.

  8. Review titled Continual poor practice service

Rated 1 star out of 5

After finally getting someone to pickup the phone, I was told I had a one o’clock appointment via phone consultation with A GP. After waiting by the phone at home until 4.30pm( not wise to go anywhere else) I decided to get in my vehicle and drive back to the surgery to ask why I was left all this time. The receptionist apologised and said ther are still 3 persons in front of you. What a shambles this practice is.
