The receptionists are amazing just like the doctors. I am very pleased with the surgery I would never think of going anywhere else.

The receptionist are extremely friendly they have a few brilliant doctors. Also I can always get an appointment when I call first thing in the morning

No disrespect to the GPs or reception staff. I have been with this surgery for 10 years, not had much need to see GP. But on the occasions I have, it was always difficult to get an appointment. During the pandemic, I totally understood the world was in the same place, everything was difficult. Now we are supposed to be getting back to normal, not this surgery. Still only telephone appointments. I have been ill on and off over the last 12 months. Only telephone appointments. I eventually ended up in the hospital for 5 days, requiring urgent intervention. I have booked annual leave for today so I am available at any time. After a 40-minute telephone wait, told no appointments. Sp I am having to book another day's leave to see if I can get an appointment tomorrow. What is going on at Eastview Surgery, most surgeries are offering face-to-face appointments and getting back to pre-pandemic services. I now feel I have no choice but to move to another practice who are offering face-to-face appointments. Everyone has suffered during the pandemic, I feel Eastview is using what happened to limit and control who is seen. No disrespect to the reception staff, but you are probably the butt of much unwelcome behavior, which is not down to yourselves but the management of this surgery. I notice that none of the previous reviews have even been acknowledged by Eastview surgery, so expect mine will be ignored a well. NHS need to intervene this is not acceptable.

I have been with this GP practice since 2015 and have no intention of going anywhere else. The receptionists are always friendly and have a lovely smile on their face and they do have some amazing doctors. I highly recommend this surgery

What used to be a helpful friendly family surgery has now turned into an unnecessary rage filled experience. You can't get to see the Dr you're registered with and you're unable to get an appointment with any other Dr, which they say is an option if yours doesn't have availability. Even when phoning through twice a day at the specific times given to you. Phone rings forever and when you do get through to the unhelpful/rude reception/phone/admin staff, they either fob you off with "all appointments are taken, go the walk-in centre" or just put the phone down as soon as you get through. Today, 07/11/22, is the final straw and I'm leaving the practice. I do wonder how people manage to actually get an appointment here... And if the rage with each contact you make to them is equal to mine?! All I can say is my mental health isn't going to be affected any further by them and I've fingers crossed on a new surgery that I'll be registering with will be more helpful. So, in closing... Off to the walk-in centre I go again!
