    Cannot get through on the phone. Waited on the phone over half an hour only to be cut off when I eventually got through! So frustrating. The call back system doesn't work. That also cuts you off. Have visited the practice and been told my issue would be resolved only for it not to be over a week of trying. It would be easier to get a letter from God. I only want some.medication but it's not happening. Absolutely rubbish

    Dear anonymous, Thank you for your feedback, I am sorry you felt this way about the practice. I can understand it can be frustrating to get through at 8am as this is our most busiest time of the day. If you can not get through on the phone you can come to the surgery at 8am to book an appointment and we do offer pre bookable face to face and telephone appointments in advance via the myGP app or patient access app. You can also submit your request through PATCHS via our online website and your request will be passed to the relevant clinician to review. For any medication request this can be requested via email, PATCHS, myGP & patient access or you can post your request through the letter box at the surgery as we do not accept medication requests over the phone.     My son has had blood tests for an ongoing issue. I was not informed of any abnormal results until I rang to enquire. I ask to prebook a telephone appt to discuss them but this is not even an option. I finally get one 4 days later and ask if the dr can call between times as I am in work and unable to answer the phone. When this time was nearly up I call them to get a very rude reception whose response was well if it was urgent the dr would have rang and the dr has had emergencies. I then asked what will happen if I miss the call her reply... well what do you want him to do??? She then suggests that she can ask the dr to ring after 6.30 (when they shut) if I believe its urgent!! I do not know what the results are so how am I to know. A better system needs to be in place for follow up results and people who work, school run etc as not every one can ring at 8. Taking away the 1.30 call time for appts was a mistake also.

    Dear anonymous, Thank you for your feedback, I am sorry you felt this way about the practice. I can assure you that we have made alterations to make it easier for patients to book an appointment to speak or see their GP, we now offer advanced pre bookable face to face and telephone call appointments which can be booked through the myGP or patient access app or you can submit a PATCHS via our online website which will be passed to the relevant clinician to be reviewed.     Waiting for biopsy results but can’t get through to surgery to make appointment. I am extremely upset and worried having to wait another day , if I can’t get through tomorrow then it means waiting all over the weekend till Monday. Wonder how they’d feel if it was them?
