  1. Review titled Unhelpful, not caring, waste of service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Kate Blanchard - Posted on 26 March 2024

After receiving a text msg from the DR saying that an appointment needed to be booked to re-evaluate my childs ongoing condition i'm tolds its only a routine appointment needed and so to call in the morning and see if any apts available. So a child is being neglected for an appointment requested by a Dr and there are apparently no future appointments to be booked. Waste of time. Bring back an online booking system and get rid of the receptionist that refuse to book appointment. Neglect

  2. Review titled Total Lack of Empathy.. Patient Care ..and Support

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Mr Robert Littler - Posted on 08 May 2023

Having been a patient at this practice for many years.. I have witnessed and experienced the gradual drop in patient care and support demonstrated by this practice. There is no point in changing my GP as unfortunately reports received from others would confirm the complete failure of the GP system here in Warrington and Nationally.

  3. Review titled Disgusting

Rated 1 star out of 5

Caller number one, been on hold for half hour for it to say default and hang up, rang back and another half hour still waiting to be answered. Never get appointment straight away always need the dr to call first. Ridiculous save time and get appointments! Always receptionist on the desk but can’t seem to answer the calls, to busy having coffee and chatting! Needing a prescription but because I’ve not long had some can’t order more until a certain date. Honestly wouldn’t recommend this surgery to anyone unless you want to be messed about

  4. Review titled Told to go a&e for an eye infection

Rated 1 star out of 5

Eye infection and I’m told to go to a&e. The service is diabolical. 10am and they’ve no appointments - or any emergency appointments left. Not even a phone call.

  5. Review titled Open until 630 but no doctors!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Joanne - Posted on 23 December 2022

My son is 5 and has scarlet fever. My 7 year old is unwell with scarlet fever but no doctors. I’m expected to go to the walk in centre or a&e. it’s disgusting. Never any appointments face to face. The surgery needs to reopen Covid is a thing of the past. So many people going undiagnosed. It’s disgusting!

  6. Review titled Woeful

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Unhappy of Warrington - Posted on 22 December 2022

Despite spending six weeks advising practise of requirements. The failure to respond caused a 2hr wait fir an emergency prescription for my father in law. The support for elderly patients would appear to be none existent, the booking system to try and get help is a joke and the frustration of dealing with thus is making already ill people even worse.

  7. Review titled Terrible service

Rated 1 star out of 5

Hubby had a sciatic attack and had to go to a&e, he was given codeine and naproxen. 7 days later Fri 11th Nov he rang doctors for a fit note for work and more medications as he was still in a lot of pain. Reception told him they were 2 doctors down that day and as it was "not urgent" to ring back on Monday. Rang Monday at 8.30am, finally got through at 12.45pm to be told all appointments gone and as the doctor needs to see him he will have to ring back next day. Hubby told receptionist he was in a lot of pain and what could he do. She parroted nothing. Rang 111, great doctor, referred him to Aintree hospital for 9.30am next day as they thought it could be a blockage. Luckily all okay so now he still in pain. Hospital couldn't give him meds or fit note so now back to getting in the queue at the doctor's again tomorrow morning.

  8. Review titled They don't care about patients

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 03 November 2022

I called them to ask about fit note. Person on the phone said that everything will be set. Whole day noone contact me, so I called them at evening only to hear that I have to call again day later to make another appointment with doctor because he wanted to make a review. I tried to understand why doctor didn't call me back then or why they didn't make me appointment today when I called. Person wasn't nice and act like it's not their problem. It's extremely hard to get any help there, no matter what we call with, it's always impossible to get appointment. Very disappointing.

  9. Review titled Extremely Helpful if Genuinely Ill

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 22 September 2022

I continue to need regular assistance from Folly Lane Medical Centre and I have always been able to talk to a doctor despite the straight jacket protocol they now have to work under. The telephone has always been an issue, but the triage system is necessary to protect the scant resources available. The care I receive is worth a lengthy telephone wait !

  10. Review titled Impossible to get an appointment!

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 09 August 2022

Annoyingly they take walk in appointments from 8am before the phone appointments at 8:30am. So anyone who works can never get an appointment when phoning up! Phoned at 8:30 on the dot and the automated message said there was a huge queue and they would call me back when I was at the front of the queue. An hour later a receptionist phones back to say I can have an appointment in two days time! So in the meantime you just let your illness get worse! Why take on so many patients if you can’t actually see them!
