Had an absolutely wonderful encounter today with one of the GPs, and am saddened I cannot identify them here! I felt listened to, validated, and treated like an equal, where other services have proven ignorant, and even demeaning towards my concerns. I did not feel I was being rushed, nor dismissed, and I felt like the expert by experience, rather than someone uneducated on their own experience of illness. Today, I received truly outstanding care, and I hope the doctor in question receives some recognition for the same, even if I can't identify them! I am happy with Anchor Medical generally, appointment availability is good, receptionists are typically helpful and offer appropriate guidance, the practice have also always issued apologies where there has been any perceived wrongdoing by either myself or by them (which happens, it's a busy service, after-all, and we're only human!) Today's experience was particularly exceptional, and I've come away thinking I'm always quick to complain and, instead, would like to give credit where credit is due. Many thanks!

This is not my normal GP however visited today for a blood test arranged by my hospital nurse Best blood test I’ve ever experienced Didn’t feel a thing Friendly Quick and no pain or fuss Very impressed, in and out in 10 mins

The trouble with this practice is most of the people who work on the reception think they are doctors! Instead of concentrating on what they are paid to do and loose the attitude.

Dear Sir, I am sorry you feel that our receptionists were not helpful in anyway. We as a practice provide a service to ensure you the patient is seen most appropriately. Often we feedback what we have been instructed to say by the doctors.
