    Had an appointment booked with a certain doctor! They never tang me! Spoke to reception day after and they said they will put me back on the list! Still no phone call! 3rd day spoke to reception again! If I didn't show to an appointment I would have got a letter showing a no show but it's OK for Dr's not to stick to their telephone appointments!

    I have been phoning the Lower Gornal medical practice for four days running trying to get an appointment.I phone at 8.00am every morning I might get an answer before 8.35am only to be told all the appointments for that day have gone .It’s easier to get an audience with the Pope .Are there any doctors there at all how can all the appointments slots be filled in such a short time .The place is an absolute shambles and whoever’s in charge ought to be brought to task .This surgery is the talk of the village .What was wrong with the old system it worked well for years for the patients.Maybe the doctors got to comfortable during the covid lockdown

    On entering the waiting area for my appointment with the respiratory nurse I sat in a empty waiting room and the rude receptionist opened the glass shutter and told me I needed to put a face mask on I informed her I was exempt and infront of another patient standing at the desk she said you still have to put one on ! I was sat minding my own business and then she opened the shutter again and shouted what are you doing here anyway ? Have you even checked in ! I said yes I have an appointment with the respiratory nurse ! She said oh so your obviously early I said yes 8 minutes to be precise ! Absolutely disgusting customer service for someone who also suffers with anxiety ! I asked her if she had a problem with me because she was constantly being rude and making unecessary comments
