  1. Review titled Several recent good experiences

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 08 April 2024

I am not someone who usually needs to access their GP surgery's services much but for various reasons I've had to over the past couple of months and I've been pleased with the outcome each time. 1) Called to request a blood test - Dealt with swiftly by receptionist (not on hold for long nor a long pre-recorded message to get there) and a blood test form was emailed to me, with directions on how to book. 2) Attended a smear test - Nurse was friendly, warm and professional, making an unpleasant test much easier. 3) Contacted the practice via the NHS app to advise my record had an erroneous entry on it (inputted by a community pharmacy) and it was swiftly removed. 4) Attended another appointment with the same nurse for a vaccine and, again, dealt with in a very nice manner, unhurried and informative about the vaccine. All in all, I've been very impressed with the practice and I thank each and every staff member who contributes to it's success.

  2. Review titled Great Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Anna McLaughlin - Posted on 26 February 2024

I called the surgery to confirm some recent changes to a medication list. The phone was answered quickly and my enquiry was handled both patiently and professionally. With the clarification received I was then able to go to the pharmacy knowing what what medication to expect to collect. A good experience.

  3. Review titled Rejecting new patient registration without reason

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 03 November 2023

I registered as a new patient to this GP since I live exactly 0,2 miles away. However, I have been declined because I am not in the area for this practice. Why? Do I have to live in the same building with this practice to be in their area?

Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback. I understand that this is frustrating for you but we do have a defined practice area and can only accept new patients from within this catchment area. A map is available in our surgery showing this. If you would like to contact the practice and give your full address, we can of course check again whether you live within our practice area. Kind regards Karin Bruce, Practice Director

I would highly recommend this practice. My family and I have been attending Jubilee Healthcare for nearly ten years and have found their service to be exceptional. The nurses, GPs and reception staff are very friendly, helpful and professional, giving time and care during appointments. Thank you to everyone at Jubilee Healthcare for making trips to the doctors as pleasant as possible!

  6. Review titled Supportive and friendly service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have found the staff at Jubilee healthcare very helpful over the past few months. The team on reception are very helpful and accommodating, the only surgery I have been with where the reception staff are not rude. GP’s always respond and communicate well, they listen to your worries, talk thinks through and explain any decisions. Office staff have been extremely helpful with any admin side of things. I have been in regular contact over the past few months for myself but also my Father, the practice are always willing to help and action anything needed. Highly recommend this GP practice.

  7. Review titled Could not get through via phone

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 25 October 2022

I was on hold for 30+ minutes on a Tuesday afternoon when I rang on behalf of my unwell elderly parent. Not good enough when phone is the main form of communication for gp surgeries these days.

  9. Review titled Terrible service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 28 October 2022

I was feeling a lot of pain and rang the GP more than three times. Waited upwards of 30 minutes each time and didn't get any response at all. Are they even working at all? This is inhumane.

  10. Review titled Outstanding care for my elderly mother

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by LKT - Posted on 05 September 2022

Jubilee health centre, coventry. (I am unable to state personal information but I hope you can recognise yourselves and know that we are grateful to you). Thank you to the teams at Westminster Road and Station Avenue for the excellent care you have been providing for my 89 year old mother. Mum has been with your practice for 20 years and care has always been of a very high standard. Recently (since March 2022) Mum has needed to use your services more frequently (3 times per week) – we have met with both nurses and most frequently (Health care assistant). Appointments at the surgery could have been a challenge to arrange, especially due to Mum’s adult children transporting her; sometimes we muddled up the location or time of the appointment – all staff were always kind and patient with us all, seeing Mum even if we were late due to our confusion. Mum does not suffer because of her childrens’ failings! Mum’s needs are diverse and complex as with many elderly people; mind and body are rapidly failing. Nevertheless Mum’s Gp. Dr., and the nursing team listen carefully to Mum: they have taken time to “know her” as an individual, they never dismiss a concern she expresses, they assess and treat her with enormous respect and compassion, her dignity is always respected and she is always taken seriously. She is given time to organise and express herself, as are we who accompany her; this is exceptional given the time and economic pressures we know you are under. The GP has driven forward onward referrals which nurses and administration staff have followed up if things have gone quiet. Mum is a “Coventry Kid” - she survived a bomb landing just outside her house in Earlsdon removing the house front (1941) and has continued to be a “survivor”, a “fighter”. She is an amazing woman and it is a joy and privilege to witness this NHS team enabling her to feel as comfortable as possible despite the crippling era of austerity and the toll of Covid 19. Thank you all – you are a credit to the NHS and Mum’s generation who helped build it. We are very, very grateful.
