    I can't praise Hockley Medical Practice highly enough! From the moment I got in touch, they demonstrated their dedication to patient care. They swiftly arranged a telephone appointment followed by a face-to-face consultation with a GP, ensuring I received prompt attention and thorough care. The professionalism of their integrated primary healthcare team was evident throughout my visit. Each member was not only suitably qualified and trained but also incredibly supportive and helpful. The surgery itself was impeccably clean and well-equipped, fostering a safe and comfortable environment for patients. Hockley Medical Practice truly puts their patients at the centre of everything they do. I'm immensely grateful for the efficient and effective service they provided, and I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in need of exceptional healthcare.

    Kindly improve this GP practice in any way possible. I have tried calling in the morning between 8 am to 8.30 multiple times but they never have any appointments left. The receptionist advised me to book appointment through the online system. I booked a telephone consultation with the GP through the online booking system but never recieved the phone call. When I checked back in the system it says that they tried to call me twice. Once at the decided time and once 55 minutes after. At that time my phone was in my hand, it had full coverage and full battery. But it never rang. Who ever is reading this if you have any power to change anything please do something.

    I'm trying to see a doctor days now, calling before 8, in order to get in a queue, but is not even possibly. I can't even get in que because of high volume of calls. After 45 min I'm in a que, but course no appointments by the time.. How is it poss4i can't even get in a que and I'm on automatic redial from 7:56? Many times in a past took day off from work for nothing, couldn't get appointment. They never call Back. Even when they say they will. Have to chase literally everything. Giving wrong information so many times, this practice is a joke.

    I have been trying for a period of six weeks to get seen by a g.p and have not been successful. I call the phone at 8am and by that time your asked to call back later as they are receiving high call volume. When you do call back later you are unable to make an appointment and are advised to use the Birmingham Solihull NHS app. ( useless as they ask for you to upload your photo I.d but the the form fails to submit). Receptionists do not show any empathy either. Its appalling that you can not be seen by a gp. And the prescription line is unrecognised too. This practice does not take humanity serious.

    I phoned recently and although I joined the phone queue when my turn came I was able to book a Dr appointment for the same day. The Dr that saw me was very thorough and referred me to a skin clinic, within a week I was given an appointment at the skin clinic. I’ve been to the surgery a few times over the past year or so and have always managed to be seen by a Dr when requested, I’ve also found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. All in all I’m am very happy with the service that the surgery provides.

    Having moved from a Gloucester GP to Hockley I was rather concerned that the practice might not be very efficient. However, my concerns were misplaced. It does take a while for the phone to be answered as it does at every practice but a same day appointment was offered and the receptionist and pharmacist are particularly helpful and proficient - not the case in my previous practice. The adjacent pharmacy is also very useful and again very friendly & helpful.

    I called and joined as 8 in the queue. I was on hold for 54 minutes, got to number 1 in the queue and the operator cut the line! This is typical of other recent experiences. It is ludicrous how long the hold queue takes and to be cut off and need to rejoin at the back makes me despair.

    the worst GP centre. The receptionist takes over an hour to answer a call, then says there are no appointments available today and to call tomorrow. After 2 days of calling, the GP gave me a cream for Egzoma that made my Eczema worse. I called again and said there was no appointment and I should call tomorrow. this is really disgusting
