  1. Review titled Bad customer service

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I was calling on Friday morning but was having no luck getting through the phone was just ringing out as I was in the area I decided to pop in the surgery. To my amazement there were 3 staff in the front reception area, otheir mobile phones while 1 staff was talking to a patient the other 2 staff were on theirmobile phones, I was not just shocked but utterly disgusted that they were so ingrossed into the phone that they didn't even notice me . So no wonder they were not answering the phone . I get the surgery's phone lines are often busy but this was just disgusting, I wonder how many other people were waiting on the phone for their call to be answered??. What sort of management is working at this place to allow for this to happen?? I have proof of this claim and will share if I have to , but you have cctv so please check on what your staff are doing, playing on your mobile phone while you have patients waiting is diabolical. People don't call the surgery unless needed we don't do it for the fun of it . We work too and can not hold half an hour on the phone all the time just because the staff are too bust on their mobile phones I am disgusted at what I saw and very disappointed with the surgery's services

  2. Review titled Always a bad experience

Rated 1 star out of 5

Like anywhere these days, getting a appointment at the GP isn’t easy, esp when the receptionists are rude on the phone and say if your more than 10 mins late you forfeit your appointment, that’s understandable, even though the waiting room is always empty, they say they are very busy. Usually at this practice I wait 20-30 mins to be seen by the doctor, so waiting an hour and half was definitely out of the ordinary. Then after they are getting ready to close up and notice me at 18:25 waiting on my 16:50 appointment, the receptionist decides it must be my fault and shouts across the room why didn’t I check in. I told her do not put this blame on me, I checked in with your colleague. The colleague then came over and apologise and passed the blame onto the doctors that they had forgotten to call me. After recently having surgery down below, sitting upright for so long had caused stitches to become undone and I left the surgery in more pain than I arrived. This surgery used to be very good but recently this hasn’t been the case.

  3. Review titled Absolutely Terrible

Rated 1 star out of 5

This practice used to be good but the last few years it has gone so downhill it’s unreal. Recently had surgery and was told I need my dressing changed by a medical professional (doctor/nurse) at least every other day as I’m vulnerable and high risk. After being on hold for 45 mins, a receptionist with an unbothered tone tells me they can see me in 6 days as they are too busy. so I have to attempt to do it myself even though it’s in a position I can’t reach or see and don’t know if I’m doing it right

Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to note from your comments that you were disappointed with service provision at St Clements Surgery. Please accept my sincere apologies; we aim to provide the best care we can to all of our patients, so I welcome any feedback where you think our care appears to be falling below standard. At St Clements we give utmost importance to all our patients’ satisfaction with our service. Our appointment lines run from 08:30 for morning appointments and 15:00 for pm appointments. We also have the Accurx service which you can use to order prescriptions/sick notes/ submit an admin query or submit a medical query to a GP. Please get in contact with us to find out all the access routes and more about Accurx. I apologise for the delay in receiving your prescription. As we are a training practice we regularly have staff that need a senior doctor to authorise their prescriptions. As well as supervising the Seniors may also have to see there own patients. This can sometimes cause a delay in a prescription being sent over to the Pharmacy. I will like to reassure you that I will notify the clinicians to inform the patients if there will be a delay in their prescriptions being sent over. Once again I apologise for any inconvenience this has caused you. To enable us to investigate this further and resolve any issues, we would like to get further details, I would appreciate if you could kindly contact me on 0121 4110343. I have never had an issue with this surgery. The doctors are brilliant. Sometimes I may not get the doctor I want but I understand it’s not always possible. The atmosphere is kind and caring.

  8. Review titled Awful

I hardly makes appointment but when you ring them to make appointment for yourself and kids then you have to ring 200 times to make appointment then they ask you , swap over which one is priority to see as they don’t have any appointments left so you telling me by 8:15 in the morning all the appointments are gone. Then lady asked me to ring hun number so you telling me having a register Gp doesn’t mean anything. So we should have only hub number to book. This surgery use to be good but now it’s awful specially with people who book the appointments on reception. Since when doctor is going to decide does he require to see you or not by telephone call Although you should be seen by doctor. Booking an appointment means I required to be seen by doctor. People who have jobs don’t want to stay home by sickness

ive pulled my back, I cant sit down or stand still - only walking round in circles helps - tried calling 3 times - finally hung on for over 20 mins listening to the message over and over again. to be told by the receptionist that they are about to go on lunch (noon) and to try again after 3pm!!! that's some lunch break - their website say open all day till 6pm - no mention of 3 hour lunch breaks she then said go A&E - I'm sure the doctors and nurses will be over the moon with that suggestion! Because the hospitals have nothing better to do. Don't worry I will suffer the pain like last time - which ended up with NHS online sending an ambulance to my home, with me being pumped full of morphine and oxygen - which all could have been avoided if i had got to see my GP!!!
