  1. Review titled Helpful but confusing

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by Naomi L - Posted on 18 March 2024

I had to go for a blood test, it says on the main reception to just go straight upstairs, but on the stairs it says sign in, which I found confusing, fortunately someone helped me. The person who took my blood was lovely. They helped me stay calm, and reassured me.

This practice in my opinion and from my dealings has been excellent, all the doctors I have had dealings with are nothing short of excellent with what could only be regarded super interested in my well being doing all in their power to get things like scans etc moving, regarding the front of house staff helpfull and courteous. Thank you all for your continued support.

  3. Review titled Avoid phoning

Loving the new website and 'Contact us online' option. Unfortunately it doesn't appear to be reducing the telephone queue; I guess changing behaviour takes time.

  4. Review titled Good experience

I have had to use this surgery a few times in the last couple of months and I can not fault them. Appointments are relatively easy to book online. Administration answered and dealt with my queries promptly. The two female GPS I have spoken to have been professional and caring.

  5. Review titled Amazing service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had to ring for an emergency appointment for my daughter, the lady I spoke to on the phone was so helpful. She got me a face to face appointment with the doctor for the afternoon. We only waiting for 10 minutes after we arrived and the Dr we saw was very thorough. I highly recommend

  6. Review titled Awful

Rated 1 star out of 5

Absolutely awful surgery. Every time I try and call lines too busy. Turn up at opening time 8.00 to be told cannot book appointments till 8.30am. Was told only appointment available was a a 4 week wait. No wonder patients go to hospital!! Reception are rude, un sympathic and very judgemental. The worst place to visit when your ill, vulnerable and in need of help. This surgery does not care about its patients.

  7. Review titled Useless and dangerous

Rated 1 star out of 5

You can try to call for an appointment only for the phone lines to be permanently full as not enough staff to answer the phones. If you get through chances are the reception team will deem you not sick enough for an appointment or there will be no appointments left only 45 mins into the day. Only a small handful of doctors seem willing to discuss and understand your issue, majority seem to think a leaflet is going to help address what can be totally debilitating physical or mental health issues. Ever since this practise consolidated multiple practises they have lost all levels of patient care. Patients are now no more than an inconvenience and a number to them. Previously doctors would give amazing and personal care taking an interest and time to look at your history and treat you as a whole rather than a single issue. Had doctors taken more than a minute to offer treatment they could have prevented so many issues and what have become lifelong scars both physical, emotional and mental. Do not use this surgery!!! Don’t think they care for a second!!! even if you try to make a complaint they will make it so difficult you can’t complain and they can get away with the worst patient care possible and they won’t have to take accountability for a problem of their own design just to save them extra money for no improvement or change in services.

  8. Review titled Very poor communication

Rated 1 star out of 5

My parents in their late 80s are both very unwell with chest infections, yesterday my dad tried to get telephone appointments and was told none available and to ring today at 8.30. He dragged himself out of bed and rang, only to get an answer message saying none available. I went in person, very surprised that the waiting room was empty. 2 receptionists on duty. The first one was just sitting there doing nothing possibly on her mobile hard to tell from where I stood. I went to her only to be told to go to the other window (the one with the queue). Eventually I got to speak to receptionist to be told there were no appointments, not even a 5 minute Dr call to 2 very ill elderly patients with pre-existing health conditions, not that the receptionist even bothered to ask who my parents were or the problem and to ring 111. I'm now in a queue to them that is at least 60 minute waiting time. I used to work at a different medic centre and we would never have acted like this. Infact my own surgery go over and above to help patients. I will certainly be making a formal complaint if my parents conditions deterrate further.

  9. Review titled NHS at its best

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My 94 year old father was extremely ill at the end of last year but the care and service he received from Bedworth Health practice was excellent. Although, like any GP practice in the current climate, it takes a while to get through by phone once connected the receptionists are helpful and understanding. The visiting GP was exceptional. She examined him thoroughly, listened carefully and set the wheels in motion for further tests and support. Thanks to her care and vigilance he has made an amazing recovery.
