7 months with this practice and they still have not updated my records- I suffer with mental health issues and osteoarthritis but over 100 calls each day and can’t get an appointment- call in several times to get my records updated but fobbed off completely- they even have a condition on my records that I do not have so clearly someone else’s records on mine!! They are rude and totally not interested in helping. My mental health is suffering enormously as a result of their complacency and attitude- this is by far the worst surgery I have ever been too and will be changing as I need to see a doctor and you can’t get one here

After many years here , service go far down as expected, unable to get appointment, if you will get doctors have like 10 minutes for you, and just one thing in one time can be sorted, They have mess in system about patients details, all goes more bad every month, time to leave and find much more reliable place. And about reception, ladies not all of course , but 70 % are rude, never help, very often when difficult question are they just drop phone down, and if you ring to get appointment, you have to describe even when you have mucus from genitals coz that is so important, you can't say, as you have just women problems and need to see gynecology nurse or practitioner.

I cannot fault the doctors at this practice. whenever I have needed help they have supplied it professionally and thoroughly. Also my experience of the practice clerical team has also been good, if you are polite to them. they are helpful back. The issue with this practice, the bad, is the appointment booking system, and the total lack of being able to get help or dn appointment when you need it. 8.30 every morning just does not work.

I contacted the practice to book an appointment as I have been struggling with my mental health, stress and burnout. The receptionist was understanding and caring. I was seen the same day by a Gp who took the time to listen and started me on treatment and referred me on to therapy. I cannot thank the Gp enough for all his support, and the services I was referred on to eg CBT and social prescriber. The Gp took the time to listen and made me feel like I was important and not wasting his time. This was such a difficult time for me as I am a health professional myself and I left it too long before I sought help. I have to say I am glad I did seek help and am so grateful for the support. The pressures the GPS are under is challenging and I believe they should be given credit where credit is due. I have been followed up and I am in a much better place than I was 6 weeks ago. This practice in my opinion is doing it’s best and I cannot fault it at all. Thank you for all you do..

I saw the Doctor after a minor procedure at the Hospital. The Doctor was very attentive to my needs and went to a lot of trouble in prescribing the right medication for the immediate future.

Great doctors nurses and staff, very patient and helpful It can be very frustrating trying to get an appointment though, I know this is no fault of the staff just circumstance The phone system could do with improvement as it’s distressing when in pain or feeling really poorly (both of which I have been recently) to try repeatedly to get through at 8.30am to then get a message that all queues are full and try again later, I think my record is 120 attempts to get in the queue and then all appointments have gone!

Feeling anxious over the last 6 months , Especially after covid restrictions i lost my confidence , especially driving, I had a call from a doctor who fast tracked me to various organisation's 1 at Shrewsbury and 1 at the practice via .phone or face to face , i chose the practice for counselling after the lady rang me and explained i wasn't suicidal or that bad, and after 2 sessions with The lady felt great , Well done to the practice for recognising how important Mental health is in the community . Finding phone appointments on Patient access while ordering my Prescriptions was ace , having had 3 phone calls over the last 6 months sorted any health issues with out coming to the surgery was great . Thank you .

I was in difficulty this morning and telephoned reception, the young lady was very helpful and made an appointment for me to see a member of staff who attended to me in a friendly and attentive manner.

I was 10 mins early for my appointment, but was seen 25 minutes late! The reception could see me, but was too busy chatting to other staff, and people she knew. In the time I sat waiting no other patients went in or came out of the direction of the surgery I went to..... clearly something is wrong in the way this practice is managed. On the positive, when I eventually saw the Doctor he was very helpful.

The doctors themselves have always been good with the care provided. My caveats to that ate the lack of appointments... Last week I rang repeatedly until I finally got though only to find no appointments for nearly 2 weeks. I had to resort to waiting until the weekend and calling ShropDoc who made a referral and the GP called me next morning. In short good care just need more opportunity to get it.
