I was impressed by how quickly I was able to get an appointment here, didn't have to wait the 4 weeks I have had to wait elsewhere. Staff seem friendly and there is plenty of parking. Unfortunately reception was unmanned and I ended up late for my appointment as no one came, even when I rang the bell. I am also disappointed that they seem to assume you will collect your prescription from the dispensary which closes at half 5 - As someone who works full time (i.e. 9-5) I'm not sure how exactly I am supposed to be able to collect a prescription. I had to really push for the receptionist to let me have my prescription sent to another pharmacy, as I had arrived bang on half 5 and they tried to say I had to come back another day or get someone else to collect for me (I have no one who can do this for me and I physically cannot get there any earlier unless I have annual leave). Really feel this could be improved simply by asking patients first if they are even able to collect before half 5 to save wasted time and journeys, or even better open the dispensary for the same hours the surgery is open. Feels like they have tried to make it accessible for working people by having longer opening hours for appointments, but it still isn't great for working people if we still can't collect our prescriptions without taking time out of work.

After a routine blood test showed my iron levels a little low Gp decided to arrange a stool,test to make sure I want loosing blood . I did the test and it did indeed come back positive for blood. On the back of this a colonoscopy was arranged and 8 polyps found and removed awaiting test results but am told this is a very early stage of possible pre cancer. This GP was so on the ball all,tests completed and polyps removed within a two week time scale. This could have been a very different outcome if left. Feeling very thankful Kenneth ling

Last week we had a health crisis with my mom it was extremely challenging time. We would not have got though without the outstanding support from all,the staff at this surgery. I cannot put into words how grateful we are. Very deserving reciepants of “Gp Surgery of the year “ Congratulations

My mom has Alzheimer’s and mobility problems as I was unable to get her to the surgery so asked if they do a home visit. They came within half hour,we are extremely fortunate to such wonderful caring GP, sevice her in Chaddesley. As a family we are so greatful to each and everyone at the surgery. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts
