  1. Review titled Great practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I called the practice at 12.30 and was number 8 in the queue, I was answered in approximatly 5 minutes. The receptionist was very helpful and I was offered an appointment at 16.10 the same day. I am super happy with this practice.

  2. Review titled Receptionist again!

by Usually patient Patient - Posted on 23 August 2022

I understand that receptionists are surgery front-liners, but good manners and a certain level of intelligence aren't that much to ask. After hospital surgery I rang the surgery for advice (as per hospital instructions) and spoke to a lovely doctor who was clearly young and newly qualified. She very honestly said she didn't have experience in the field but did her best. A couple of weeks later I had to call again and this time asked if it was possible to speak to one of the more experienced doctors. I then had my head snapped off by a receptionist who couldn't understand the difference between qualifications and experience. When I eventually spoke to a doctor it was the same one as before. We both clearly thought, 'oh no, not her again!' The receptionist hadn't done either of us any favours and put pressure on a doctor unnecessarily while leaving me in a situation of continued indecision. As regards the Surgery as a whole, though, I think it is one of the best in the area for medical staff and service.

Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback regarding our services. I am very sorry to understand that you feel that the Receptionist was impolite and that there was a miscommunication regarding which doctor you would like to speak to when you were seeking further advice following your hospital procedure. Unfortunately, it is very difficult for me to ascertain what went wrong in this scenario without a few more details. I should be most grateful if you would contact me directly so that I can investigate further if you are willing to do so. Our telephone calls are recorded, and I would like to review your call with the Reception Team as part of their ongoing training to prevent this happening again in the future. Once again, please accept my apologies. We continually review our service provision, and your feedback is very much appreciated. Judith Kassapian Practice Manager College Way Surgery.
