This practice is terrible. They consistently are unable to give appointments when needed, even for a 9 month old baby. We had to ring 111 to get an appointment in Cheltenham. We were told during the appointment that if our baby's temperature increased we should phone our GP and get an appointment there. They refused us one and we had to plead to get seen. When we finally did get our baby seen they were prescribed antibiotics, we had been asking for an appointment for over a week so had they been prescribed a week ago she may have been well by now. The rigmarole of actually being able to collect the prescription was another escapade made all the more difficult by the utter useless reception staff. Avoid this place at all cost!!!

Long waits for appointments. Getting through on the phone is unlikely, lines still closed long after their lunch break ends. If you go to see them in person, they tell you to call at 8am or 2pm which can be impossible if you work for a living.

I cannot fault this practice. My parents are paitents here and I have called to get advice, visited with parents, booked appts and sorted out queries. From the reception team to the Drs and Nurses they couldn't be more helpful or caring. I live 2 hours away so knowing they have great care is vital and honestly I cannot fault this surgery....so don't believe everybody review ....I can highly recommend the whole team and feel reassured that they will take care of my parents. 10/10 for Alltwen staff and thsnk you

How people can say resepchionist are rude,I have been with this practice for almost 20 years and no one has ever been rude to me,admittedly it's not so easy to see a Dr face to face but phone calls are there and nurses are friendly and very helfull,100%

My experience today has really tested my patience. I just want to be able to access the online services. I have been given my user name and password and used them to gain entry but they are not accepted. I have visited reception 3 times to get help. Staff do their best but they are not qualified to deal with technical stuff. I want to be able to use systmonline so that a) I don't have to phone the surgery and b) I don't have to visit the surgery other than needing a face to face appointment with a doctor. Is there a member of staff who knows what they are doing when it comes to accessing systmonline? I am a computer novice and don't get it right myself. I have used patience and humour when dealing with issues at this practice. It's not their fault; it's the governments!

Honestly the worst doctors surgery I have ever encountered. Unfortunately for my dad he is a patient here and they are terrible! You can never get through, the staff are rude, the doctors couldn’t be less caring if they tried, their systems are out dated, they don’t take prescription requests over the phone, you wait weeks even months for a routine appointment, prescriptions are slow and the list just goes on. They just make everything so difficult for their patients it’s ridiculous. Maybe they should speak to Churchdown surgery and get some advice from them because they are absolutely superb and are doing everything right!

Very rude staff and very unhelpful, just tell you to go to A&E! Absolutely not duty of care to patients that need urgent help. I would not recommend this surgery.
