Never answer phone. Tried ringing but no answer 4 times. When i did get through to book appointment for my son i couldn't. Was told he had to ring. I asked if he phoned is someone going to answer phone as no one ever does and was told yes. He phoned after finishing work at 3pm and guess what ,no one answered. Three times he tried. Always told to do it online but all you ever get is an appointment for a telephone call. Thats no good when you want to see the doctor face to face especially when its to do with mental health.

Been waiting for 40 minutes and when asked when I will be seen I get a ‘we are running a bit late’ 40 minutes is a bit longer than a bit late. Had to leave work early and missed out on pay whilst I could’ve just showed up later. Would not recommend this surgery!

  4. Review titled Unreliable receptionists

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Visited surgery as I wanted to be able to pre-order my elderly father's prescription medications when required for him via the online service . I was given a proxy form and asked to fill it out and return when I could. Bearing in mind I need to catch two buses out to the surgery and two back home, I took the completed form back. I handed it to the receptionist who told me I'd have to go away and return with the form along with two forms of my id. I pointed out that the form didn't ask for this proof and that the only proof of who I was on me at that time was my disabled bus pass and my bank card but was told that wasn't acceptable so I went away to get what she asked me to produce. I returned a couple of days later and handed the form to a different receptionist this time. As I handed it over I asked if she would like some proof of id and she replied, "Nah. It's alright". I then told her I was sent away a couples of days earlier etc......... and I insisted she took the information from me. Somebody needs a bit more training I think Or the form should say whether or not proof is required.

  5. Review titled Awful practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Sue Smith - Posted on 03 March 2023

Beginning of feb I had a chest infection, the dr told me to get a chest X-ray the next day, I booked an appt the earliest I could get was over 2 weeks away, the date was nearing and the hospital cancelled so it was another 2 weeks before I could get one, I went down with another chest infection, so I did econsult and the practice messaged saying because I hadn’t had my X-ray they wouldn’t help, get in touch if I got worse, I ended up getting help from 111, the doctors need to take note of what’s going on in the nhs, you can’t say I have a chest infection and walk in and get an X-ray the next day, it has to be booked in advance and as in my case get cancelled and then refuse you treatment because of something beyond your control, all I can say is thank god 111helped me, it will be about a week before I get the results which could possibly have been another week without treatment

Dr was called four times about my sister who had multiple fits and had hit her head hard,we rang the ambulance who had stated that the GP should of come out to access her and take bloods, the surgery was not interested,my sister has learning difficulties and should not have been ignored,to much has been put on the hospitals and ambulance services, why are they not doing what they are paid to do and look after their patients instead of ignoring them,Totally irresponsible service.

  7. Review titled Worse doctors

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Ask to speak to a doctor about my pregnancy symptoms, such as pain in one side of my belly and shoulders, was told couldn’t have a scan because they don’t know how many weeks I am and to just go and get bloods done. When ask for a phone call with a doctor I got sent a message that I couldn’t reply to. Told me if I had pain in one side to ring up and tell them even know I told them the first time I rang up. Phone back up and explain it all again to be told go get bloods done this week and next and then we can have a scan to see what’s going on. So I have to wait 2 weeks to see what’s going on.

  8. Review titled Thank you

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Just to thank the staff for caring and going above and beyond. They managed to help me out today with an appointment and then spent a lot of time talking with me to ensure I was okay and had everything I need to stay safe. As all GP surgeries they are up against it and doing their best everyday. I really appreciated your help and support today.
