  1. Review titled Disgraceful

Rated 1 star out of 5

You call at 8am as instructed practice manager recorded message directs you to email (anima Service) for triage you do this, you go through the whole registering process, leave your medical information and problem details to get a reply no capacity try again tomorrow. You ring surgery again listen to same message then join the call queue after 40mins being 15 in the queue you ring off . Then you try again and again and again spending hours on the telephone. This practice has gone to pot not recovered since covid restrictions ended. How do the elderly ,hard of hearing, chronically ill or people who do have emails cope. People are forced to go to A&E putting unnecessary pressure on those services .There will be serious consequences! one star review as no minus option.

  2. Review titled Can never get through

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Natasia Lewins - Posted on 24 October 2023

Son’s medication ordered but due to a global shortage pharmacy unable to source. Called surgery three times and was on hold for over an hour and half, so I had to end call. Called surgery again at 17.50 and at 18.30 call cut off due to surgery closing. How are patients meant to be able to discuss medication issues when the phone lines are constantly engaged and when you email an automated response state’s medication requests can no longer be emailed. Pharmacies are unable to contact GP directly anymore to inform of medication issues either.

Dear Mrs Lewins Thank you for your feedback. Pharmacist's have a direct telephone line to the practice that they use to discuss any medication issues. I note that the query was resolved and prescription issued the following day. Liz Perryman Practice Manager

  3. Review titled Dissapointing

I put in a request for my husbands regular medication, and yet again they missed off 2 items , this has happened several times to my and my husbands regular medication . I cannot understand why and how it happens. When we contact the surgery to let them know medication have been missed off, we still have to wait the normal waiting time before the prescription gets to the chemist despite the fact that it is the surgeries error .

  4. Review titled Totally inaccessible

Rated 1 star out of 5

I am a carer for daughter with very challenging mental health issues who lives with me. No recognition of my role from practice. I am at point of refusing further support for my daughter. I need some help - but 'anima' is not a good way of explaining my needs. Real people need something better to express their needs I am so sorry for all my fellow patients out there who, like me, need help to say, in written words, what they need help with.

I called the surgery at 8am caller number 23 I eventually got through just after 10am only to be told there were no appointments left for the day and a nurse practitioner would call me at 16.20 the following day Sadly this surgery has gone down hill since Covid-19 even the online services were not working for appointments

Dear Tony Thank you for your feedback. Our phone lines are busy and as you say by 10am there were no appointments available at Greenview surgery, however you were given an appointment on the following day, which was a Saturday at our extended access service and your medical condition was dealt with by a prescribing Nurse Practitioner. I hope that this appointment met your needs satisfactorily, please let me know if this was not the case. Kind regards Liz Perryman, Practice Manager

  6. Review titled Just thank you.

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Meghan Nixon - Posted on 05 January 2023

Every member of staff here is fantastic, whenever I need an appointment for my sons they are always seen that day. Tonight I stupidly spilt my sons antibiotics and had a new prescription within ten minutes. The same day access service means you actually get an appointment, I know other surgeries that can’t even give a phone appointment. I always feel listened to when I attend for my sons or for myself. Just a huge thank you to all of the staff at greenview, you all do such an exceptional job.
