  1. Review titled No service

    by castorsz53 - Posted on 11 August 2023

I am furious! I telephoned for an appointment for my husband at 8:00am this morning and was told there was only one doctor working and there were no appointments available to call back at 2:00pm. I did this and started as being number 3 in the queue. When answered I was told all appointments had gone and to call back Monday. I asked how many doctors were on and again was told only one doctor. How, for a busy practice there can be only one doctor working in house? I asked to speak to the practice manager and what a surprise...not there! Explain to me why please?

  2. Review titled Finally a great experience

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Claire Cleal - Posted on 18 March 2023

The GP, Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Receptionist today were all friendly, listened to me and gave me a choice of my treatment options. I was very worried about visiting the surgery and had the start of a panic attack in the waiting area, but I couldn’t have received better care. Thank you very much from a fellow Healthcare professional and Registered Nurse

  3. Review titled Worst GP surgery

Rated 1 star out of 5

I'm puzzled how this surgery still allowed to operate! The receptionist team do not listen, unable to help with the smallest tasks, provides misinformation and putting patient's life at risk, by blocking access to medications. Doctors are careless and condescending do not inform patients properly, decline repeat prescriptions without any explanations. Absolutely appalling! Unless you are a mindreader, happy to be talked down to and miss your medications as they can't be bothered to prescribe I suggest find any other surgery. Ps: I have met a few nurses who were really nice and caring, they were the only people here who care about patients

  4. Review titled Thank you

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Hello Thank you all, especially for what you are doing for my husband. For someone who would never even take a pill for a headache he has accepted that to stay alive and well, he must take the medication he has been asked to take. Thank you all

  5. Review titled Very good practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have recently moved out of area and I am sad to be leaving this practice. I have always valued their service. All staff members have always treated me most courteously and in a caring way. The way the team handles flu vaccination is excellent. From my perspective, they coped admirably with Covid. The electronic communications I have had are simple and most useful. When I have needed them, the response was always prompt and appropriate. Thank you.

  6. Review titled Rude receptionist

Rated 2 stars out of 5

This place needs to change its receptionist because the lady who currently works there is extremely rude and has attitude issues towards patients. Tried to explain to her that I changed my address and don’t want anything sent to my old one, but she refused to accept it even with me having my ID with me to show proof that I am the patient, and told me to bring paper proof of my address change what she did not tell me the last time I called in. Have also seen her treat other patients with a rude attitude also. I am glad I changed my GP and do not have to attend this practice anymore.

  8. Review titled Nurse appointment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had an appointment with the nurse yesterday at Temple End. Despite my cerebral palsy and my difficulty keeping still, she managed to get my stitches out with no fuss at all. Please pass on my thanks!

  9. Review titled Appointment feedback

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My appointment was with the senior nurse practitioner. She is clearly very skilled at her work. She does this with an interpersonal care and respect that makes me feel like a person, not just a patient. She explained choices to me, why I needed a specific medication and how this could be obtained. I am very grateful for her support today and on all previous appointments over the last 18 months.

  10. Review titled Rude receptionists and accompanying letters

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Stuart Wili - Posted on 22 August 2022

I am in receipt of two letters from you re appointments on the 4/8/22 and 8/8/22 the first appointment to see the Hca I did attend but arrived a few minutes late as I was unavoidably delayed. When I spoke to the receptionist apron arrival once she realised, I was late she treated me with great distaste! I apologised and explained I was unavoidably delayed. Then she told me that I would not be able to see the Hca and would have to rebook. so, I rebooked. the Chiltern medical centre has now wasted 2 hours of my time and cost me twice in travel costs! I have been made to wait in reception for up to 20 minutes for an appointment. So, it is ok for you to make me wait. The letters sent reprimanding me were rude and in the case of the first letter factually incorrect as I did attend the first appointment. The second appointment I found myself becoming in danger of becoming delayed again so rather than you waste my time and money a second time decided not to attend. I have on the 10years registered with you only ever seen one doctor and I Paid! for that appointment!! It appears to me that the team at the Chiltern medical centre have forgotten We are the customers that they are paid to look after by us!! I have also noticed the large number of bad reviews about the Chmc on the internet mostly about the rude receptionists. Stuart Wili
