    It's now impossible to get to see a gp at this practice. Tried to see a gp but they've got a new and terrible "triage" system now. I spent ages filling out a questionnaire online asking for an appointment with a gp. I submitted it and a couple of days later was sent a text message saying to go in to the surgery in an hour's time - not exactly convenient. I arrived and got to see a nurse, who told me I need to see a gp. The receptionist tried to book another appointment for me to see a gp, but has to go through the same stupid process we have to. 7 days later I'm still waiting for a date for an appointment. What a complete waste of time.

  2. Review titled Appalling wait times

    Daughter completed on line request 6 weeks ago and today received follow up to say she will receive an appointment within 3 - 4 week time. Called surgery to find that they have no appointments for non urgent cases due to underfunding and that they are short of Doctors so I am surprised that they are taking on new patients when they cannot service those that they have already. Basically she told me if its not urgent you have to wait for it to be triaged and if its not considered urgent enough it gets held in a queue. If you think it is urgent and you do not get a response call 111 or 999, surely this can not be right?

    Needed an urgent appointment. Only appointment to see a Dr face to face was one months time!!! Do people not realise you ring a Dr when there is a problem? ''Ring back 8am tomorrow in parrot fashion and you may be able to get an urgent appointment'' Also missed hernia and had to get a second opinion, which confirmed I had a hernia. You are the only local Dr's who are local wit several different branches, you really need to resolve staffing shortages. Rang 111, super service and worthy of praise. Short wait excellent staff and communications.

    After experiencing chest pains in the early hours, I phoned up at 8am, spoke to a wonderful receptionist who helped me get an appointment. Within one minute of getting off the phone I had a doctor who phoned me and spoke me through every possible cause. She had me come in to the practice 30 minutes later and then referred me through to the hospital for later that day. Absolutely smashing team that morning!
