  1. Review titled Distressed

I went to the surgery to collect a form I was told was ready and was made to feel like it was my fault that it was not there. The admin staff were curt and abrupt and I was given no apology for their error.

  2. Review titled Outstanding practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

This surgery is outstanding in our opinion. The staff and care plus the quality has been the best we’ve ever experienced in an NHS practice. Always get through on the phone same day and usually always get an appointment for the children. All the GP’s and nurses really do care and the reception team are so helpful, really hearing your concerns and doing their best to support - I hope not to have to change practice! Please continue to be so wonderful Lee House!

  3. Review titled Was good a couple of years ago, now very poor

Have tried to make face to face appointments for over 6 months now. I disapprove of being grilled over the phone by a receptionist in order to get a telephone appointment with a GP that I do not know and does not know me. I dislike the attitude where the GP just refers you see an in house, (bought in?), "specialist" who also has no knowledge of you and your needs. I dislike the in house "Specialist" standing some considerable distance, wearing gloves and a mask making decisions to then having to ask a GP to refer me on to a NHS hospital for treatment without properly examining me or knowing my other needs. I have given up trying to get to see a real GP face to face as I feel that they no longer truly care about my health. This GP's surgery has declined into a pass the buck establishment onto the NHS. I believe that it is a trend now that all GP's and their directors and parent companies are using to keep costs low and their bonuses and dividends high, all at the cost to the NHS. It is inevitable then that the NHS is struggling as GP's dumb down and just act as a referral service causing NHS Hospitals to be overwhelmed. It is interesting to note that the surgery car park and waiting rooms are now empty suggesting to me that the best you can get is a voice on the phone. I feel that the GP's do not have any interest in me as a person anymore and just get passed around and treated as a body part. So, so sad.

  4. Review titled Appointment booking a shambles

Rated 1 star out of 5

Got an interview (phone) for 3pm today. I was rung at 2.10pm. I rang back immediately but told the receptionist that I was busy and could not take call and could the doctor ring back at 3pm as per the appointment I was given. I was then rung at 3.30pm and just missed picking up the phone. I rang back immediately told that the message that I was available would be passed on, but received a text saying I would have to rebook. I rang to rebook and was told I couldn't today, this week or even next week. That the only way to get any appointment is to ring back tomorrow at 8am. Really!!!!. What is more infuriating is that this is on the back of an appointment I had about a month ago when the doctor said he would discuss the problem further after I had a blood test. I had the blood test and did not hear anything and when I chased today told that the notes said blood test had been returned ok with no further action. I still have the problem ! Doctors are not the only people who are busy....a month later I am no further on except now infuriated . This is not the first time I have issues with the appointment system.
