I wish to say thank you to both receptionist and GP who spoke with me today. The reassurance, understanding and support I received was exemplary leaving me feel reassured and fully supported and understood. Thank you so very much for your time today. It is very, very much appreciated when feeling particularly unwell and concerned.

I phoned the surgery for advice on new concerning symptoms. Phone answered quickly and immediately booked in for same day GP and nurse appointments. Fast, friendly and sympathetic response by reception and clinical staff which was very much appreciated.

I have never written a review here before, but I have had such a wonderful experience at my local GP Practice recently, that I just wanted to highlight how some Practices can really shine and do an excellent job, through sometimes very challenging times. I've always received a great quality service of care from my local Practice. Throughout the difficulties of Covid, I was always able to get an appointment via the online system, order prescriptions, ask questions, etc. Both on the telephone and face to face, from the reception team, nurses, HCA's and Doctors, I have always found the team to be very helpful and responsive. This Practice is also very good at updating Patients with any changes, via letters, texts, telephone, etc. Invites for routine injections, boosters, blood tests, etc. are always forthcoming. Recently I experienced a breathing issue and I made a Doctor's online telephone appointment via the online system. The Doctor didn't rush me, asked relevant questions and listened to my concerns. Within a week I'd had an X-ray, with the report available within twenty four hours online, for both myself and the Doctor/Practice to see. Two weeks later, I had an hour long appointment face to face with a Nurse, who carried out a range of tests as requested by the Doctor. The Nurse was wonderful throughout and kept me at ease. After the tests were completed, because there was still time left, the Nurse then went on to do additional checks, almost like a mini MOT. This made me feel I was really being cared for properly. A week later, I had a face to face appointment with the Doctor, who discussed the results of the tests/exam with me, giving me ongoing guidance for the future. Before leaving, I thanked the Doctor for the excellent care I had been given, and I let the Doctor know how impressed I was with everyone I'd come into contact with. All too often, Patient's complain about GP Practices, but I for one have been very happy with mine. Thank you.

I rang the surgery - the phone was answered promptly by a lovely understanding receptionist. The duty doctor rang back within 90 minutes and I was at the surgery 30 minutes later. What an amazing, prompt, reassuring service. The staff were professional and friendly too. Thank you.

The receptionist I spoke to was outstanding.She went out of her way to sort out the problem I had and did it with humour ,respect and authority. Three Cheers!

Telephone appointment very thorough and reassuring. Felt that my medical wellbeing was in very safe hands and any necessary follow ups would be carried out in the same manner.

Highly experienced and personable nurses, makes my diabetes review an enjoyable experience. My appointment was on time too! To improve it would be nice to be able to book a diabetes review on line as a 20 minute appointment.

Been waiting for 30 minutes for some to answer the phone, it’s every time you ring it’s the same, no one answers the phones patience wereing thin with the Barcroft practice…….. Eve Kyte

From the receptionist to the nurses they are all very polite and apologetic if appointments need to be changed… so far I have had no dealings with the doctors..
