Despite being clearly within their catchment area on both their website and the NHS website (So14 6hx) they will not allow us to register. Either the receptionist has an outdated list or the website needs updating- hard to believe we're not in the catchment area for a GP 10 min walk away. It's left us with an 8 week old baby who can't get her jabs for weeks as our current local and other GPs don't have availability.

Booked covid and flu jabs; these were cancelled by the surgery just before I arrived and I was then told I was not eligible. When I insisted that I was, I had to help staff look at my records to find diagnosis meaning I am immunocompromised so eligible. They still didn't believe me, said the dr couldn't see any reason I should have the jabs abs they were too busy to discuss. Promised phone call later never came. I used NHS text message advising me if my eligibility to book the jabs to book them at a local pharmacy instead. Rude, dismissive reception staff at this practice.

My family have been lucky enough to have been with the surgery for over 30 years. Throughout this time the care we have received has be outstanding. The reception team can't do enough to help and all of the doctors are fantastic. Thank you

It tis so difficult to get an appointment, the reception staff & DRs do not want to help fi they can avoid it. They just send links, speak over you & leave you feeling absolutely distraught.

We had recently registered with the surgery within the last year after moving to the area, sign up was easy and all online which I found much easier than going into the practice. When calling for an appointment the receptionists are always so lovely and willing to help and so far we have managed to get a same day appointment every time we have called which is amazing. We have seen about 3 different GP’s and they have all been so professional and understanding. They take their time to explain things and we have not felt rushed at all which is something we have experienced at previous practices. They are also great with our 18 month old daughter and the little play area is great when waiting. We just want to say thank you to everyone working at the practice. Your an amazing team of hardworking individuals. The Gobey family. :)

I have always found the reception staff polite friendly and very helpful. The doctor i saw for my appointment was lovely and made me feel like they actually cared about the patient and didn't rush me out the door to see the next. Much better than previous experiences at other practices. Thank you to the receptionists and doctors.

My mother is a patient at this practice and I have had to call them on several occasions recently. It is great to be able to actually speak to someone after just a short wait time. I’ve always found the reception staff to be extremely helpful. Callbacks happened within agreed timeframe . Help with documentation to support a blue badge application was also given. My mother also benefits from the well organised repeat prescription/delivery system. We are very grateful.

I've had various experiences at Walnut Tree- some okay doctors, some great ones- but I really do think it's one of the best GP practices I've come across. I've been using them for years but I was driven to write this review today when I requested a refill of a panic medication I haven't taken in a while as I'm currently struggling badly with my anxiety. I was able to get the medication the same day, and it's helped so much. I feel genuinely cared for and very grateful- thank you for helping me!
