I cannot fault this practice as all doctors, nurses, receptionists and cleaners are absolutely fantastic. The service provided is how I feel a doctors surgery should be. I would ask though that you look at your phone system. If you call you get a long recorded message including things about facemasks (really??) and then after that you get played music randomly for up to ten mins (you are fifth, fourth third in queue etc) and you get to number one and you then get three options and another long recorded message. So ten mins holding to be given options - and then different music. For ages with no idea where you are in the queue - and three out of four times, after connecting I heard a brief voice and was cut off immediately. I’d urge you to try this system yourself it’s totally illigical and very irritating to the point I can imagine most who finally get through are far more stressed than they need to be. Cut the waffle and Covid mask part (seriously no a single person attending is now even carrying a face mask, let alone wearing one), give options immediately rather than needing to wait eight minutes or more only to go into a new queue, and make sure the system doesn’t cut people off. I’m sure you’ll find life for those operating the phones will be improved as well as your customers. Remember though I love your practice, this is just an irritation that hopefully you can easily address!

5 stars are not enough for this practice. I have always managed to get an appointment. the NHS app has made it easier to get an appointment on the day, or you can telephone, and the helpful reception will make you an appointment. My Dr , who has been excellent, does whatever she says she is going to do, and nothing has been too much trouble, I feel listened to a helped by her. I have received very good service from all the other Dr's and nurses that I have seen, especially the Dr's who have done the injection into my knees, which was also excellent . I couldn't recommend this practice any higher to someone looking for a great practice with excellent Dr's and nurses, and I must include all the other staff as well I have been coming here for a few years now and I have been used to very good doctors in the past and a high level of service, so when I came to this practice, I didn't know what to expect but I can say that I have only ever received a very good service from all. I am very lucky to have a Dr's which even if I don't talk to my doctor and get one of the other Dr's I still receive a first-class service from them all.

Very responsive, best practice I’ve experienced. Everyone I have seen / spoken to, whether receptionist, nurse or doctor has been empathetic, kind and knowledgeable. What more could you ask for.

Recently left Coulsdon and therefore about to register elsewhere and leave Old Coulsdon Medical Practice. Had great service for 30 years for me and my family. Didn't want to leave without saying a big thank you to all at the practice - a very well run and responsive practice with great staff. Thanks

Phoned , only 2 in queue then asked to press button 3 .then more music and then it was cut off .so tried again but same thing happen now waiting for ring back which is more expense not happy.

My dentist asked me to get a diagnoìsis from my doctor regarding my vertigo to be sent to them by email. The receptionist was most unhelpful. Seemed to think it was not necessary.

Met with a wonderful doctor this morning who took the time to take a full history, asked pertinent questions, did a thorough examination and provided clear next steps and guidance. Gold star doctoring. Practice manager is really effective and responsive. The best GP surgery around.

As always, I had an excellent experience at old coulsdon medical practice. I didn’t see my usual doctor as I had booked an emergency appointment for my daughter through the app. The doctor was empathetic, kind and listened to me. The appointment was running on time and I did not feel rushed. Everything was explained to me and I understood the next steps. They checked I understood how to give the medicine and allowed me to ask questions. My daughter and I felt very well looked after and supported. Thank you!

This surgery not only answers its phone but sees its patients in person (rare these days, sadly). All its doctors are both caring and professional: efficiently diagnosing, prescribing and referring to specialists. But my thanks today go to the Reception team. I arrived at my cruise embarkation site last week without crucial proof of my covid booster! They sourced the vital paperwork and emailed it to me within minutes, permitting me to have a holiday. Thank you; thank you.
