    Cancelled mtly prescription with Bots just like that or the doctors didn't do there job properly. The 2 prescriptions are Amitriptyline and Citalopram that I have been taking for years, not the tablets to just cancel. When I contacted the surgery oi was told it was boots fault but when I went to boots I was told its happened to several patience from this practice and the same doctor. Sort yourselves out and start doing what your suppose to do please.

  2. Review titled Brilliant Staff

    Wonderful staff, both on the front desk and in the treatment rooms. My daughter had to register as a temporary patient (she's away at college) and the Practice registered her within a day and provided appointments to see the Doctor within the week. Really, really impressed. Thanks.

    Attempted to contact the surgery and was on the phone for over an hour. 40 minutes of this was being 1st in the queue. I gave up and decided to visit the surgery in person as the enquiry was regarding medication for my wife. After a discussion with the receptionist l asked to see a manager and was seen by a female manager, who apologised asked for my mobile phone number so she could check out why l might have been held in a queue for so long and why there was a problem with my wife ordering her medication on line. She said she would arrange for my wife’s medication to be forwarded to the local chemist, which happened the following day. I was further informed that she would telephone me or my wife to offer an explanation as to what went wrong. Well it’s been a week now since that conversation and we are still waiting on the call/explanation? Currently after being patients at Orchard Surgery for the past 30 years l can only say how disappointed we are at the service being offered and feel that customer satisfaction is not a consideration. We understand that medication needs reviewing but when you have recently had a face to face review for your diabetes do you really need another review?

    Firstly, Horsham has one of the highest numbers of patients per GP and all GP surgeries have struggled to keep up with demand the last few years, especially since the pandemic. Saying that, they do their level best. I was a vulnerable first-time parent and they honestly saved my life a couple of times - once with my deteriorating mental and emotional health of caring for my first baby during the pandemic with severe sciatica, then again when I couldn't sleep and was prescribed sleeping pills. I was called by the lead GP who told me to throw the sleeping pills away in the outside bin while he was on the phone to me, as they were heavily addictive if taken for more than 2 weeks (I'd taken doses within the recommendations when he called). It's been a very hard time for GPs and receptionists, especially in Horsham, and I wish other reviews left on here would be more understanding of the stress they must be under. Thank you Orchard surgery I owe you so much.

    Have had to ring the practice a couple of times recently and have been met with politeness and professionalism from the receptionists. Needed a face to face appointment with a doctor yesterday and again the receptionist was very helpful, and the doctor I saw was fantastic. I have been with this surgery since 1971 and would not dream of changing. My husband changed from another local surgery to Orchard Surgery and said it was the best thing he did. Thankyou to all of you at Orchard Surgery.
