This is my GP for the past 4 years. Best GP surgery so far. Responsive doctors, nurses, physio and accommodating admin staff

My main concerning issue with this surgery was just under a year ago. I suffered with a bad case of tonsillitis to a point where I could barely swallow. I spoke with the gp twice over a 10 day period where I was repeatedly told that my symptoms did not justify a face to face appointment, and that my condition would clear up in time. Eventually, when I could barely eat or sleep or work due to the pain, I went to a+e to be told that I needed antibiotics due to a bad bacterial infection (after a 5 hour wait) Most recently thumbs down was being asked over the phone by the gp (while ill for 2 weeks and home from work) to go and collect blood forms and on a Friday after 3pm. I arrived at 5pm and after being repeatedly asked what I was there to collect by different staff members. I was then told to come back on Monday by reception staff as nothing had been prepared for me to collect. It seemed nobody actually knew what I was talking about... I am not somebody who hassles the gp, I can go years without calling for help. Rest assured if I'm calling, it's because something is wrong. Over the past couple of years, I have found this surgery to be unhelpful and frankly, neglectful. I'm changing to another surgery and would not recommend this one to anyone.

moved to this gp shortly before the birth of my first son this year. They have been incredibly kind and supportive of all my inquiries and worries as a first time parent. They have been so responsive, calling back on the day on every occasion both for my own care and my child's. The Reception team communicate clearly and efficiently, arranging appointments on a timely matter. The doctors have been so kind and patient and the nurse has been wonderful to me and for vaccinations. I have been so grateful for their support at this time.
