    For the past few years whenever I renewed my repeat prescriptions the approval time which they said is 2/3 working days has always been longer than that. I also have to ring multiple times to get approvals. The admin staff also don’t seem to care or be very helpful.

    This practice initially prescribed medication for anxiety without seeing me or understanding the extent of the problem. As time passed and that medication was not fit for purpose I requested a medication review. It has now been 6 weeks with multiple attempts to get a new prescription and, after finally speaking to a mental health practitioner and explaining which medication hadn't worked, I received a text message saying that the same medication had now been prescribed again. The GP did not call to discuss why they had chosen that medication despite my specifically saying it didn't work nor to explain how it counteracts with the other medication I am on. When I called to query this, 5 minutes after receiving the text message, I was told I could not speak to the Dr but they would call back when they could - that was 2 work days ago, and still, no call going into the weekend so I will now be 7 weeks without proper medication.

    I continue to be delighted with the care I recieve from Park Medical in Rotherhithe. I called this morning and the doctor called me back the same day and dealt with my issue very effectively. I would highly recommend this GP Practice.

    I saw the doctor about a number of issues all of which they resolved with great patience and understanding. I left the surgery feeling that I had had a chance to ask any questions that I wanted and with all the medicines and advice I needed to manage my medical conditions.
