    I've been a patient here for 30-plus years. They used to have a turn-up-and-wait system from 3pm in the afternoons but this has changed since COVID. Like many surgeries, It used to be difficult to get through on the phone and to get appointments in the same week, so the "emergency clinic" system worked well when you needed to be seen sooner rather than later. They've changed this system now, and I found it easier to get through on the phone first thing in the morning than ever before. I was triaged by a very helpful member of staff and told a doctor would ring back later that morning, which he did. He asked if I could come in the next few hours and it all worked very well. The doctor was very thorough and helpful and I was more than satisfied with the service. Turning up in person at reception and asking for an appointment, even a remote or phone one, may be a much less satisfactory approach. So whereas ringing the surgery used to be the least effective approach, it may now be your best bet!

    Why no email... they're trying to contact me. I'm abroad and will be till April! They should know this as I spent time trying unsuccessfully to get enough repeat medication for this trip!!! All I get is texts which cannot be replied to!!! Silly. Great practice though.

    I am writing this on behalf of my father. I have been a patient of the practice for many years.I feel the staff are very helpful. My doctor is very understanding, compassionate and has helped me out a lot over the years he never rushes me, I feel he has time for his patients and is understanding. I would reccomend this practice and believe they are one of the best practices in the area.

    Stockwell Group Practice needs a official manager, and reception services. I am still on a call to the surgery, No.1 in the queue for 47mins. We are advised not to attend the surgery for prescription calls. We then call the pharmacy Day Lewis whom advise becaisr I will be travelling I should inform the doctors to gain more prescriptions. I cannot understand how I have been caller No.1 for 50 minutes. Stockwell Group Practice was one of yhe better doctors surgeries. The surgery should be surely aiming for better treatment of clients, and be held accountable when service delivery is not met. I no longer feel safe with this service, and hope my complaint will look at the duty of care of all patient service. It is now 14.08pm, an hour of waiting at caller No.1
