  1. Review titled Terrible customer service and response rate

Rated 1 star out of 5

Phones constantly engaged. You get a message to say 'I am sorry the phone lines are very busy right now, please ring back later'. then it abruptly states 'do not leave a message' then it says 'please speak after the tone' - which they have just told you not to do! What ever time of day you call this is usually the message you get. When you send an email complaining that you cannot get through they respond to ask you to call again next week! My GP has never seen me. Despite being my GP for several years and I am on prescribed repeat medication. When I tried to book an appointment I was told to call in the morning at 8am, which is a waste of time as you cannot get through, and on the rare chance you do, you are told there are no appointments for at least 4 weeks. I tired to go private to expedite some treatment and ease the burden on the practice/NHS, but it has been held up with my GP to review and advise. It seems this practice is overstretched and under resourced to offer an acceptable service- I fear this is now the norm throughout the NHS.

Can only make appointments 0800 -0830 but can't get through on the phone easily, when you do all appointmnets are booked already. Not able to speak to a doctor or get a call back for weeks ahead. Staff not very helpful.

  3. Review titled No compassion for patients

Rated 1 star out of 5

I had to ring exactly 120 times from 8 this morning and finally was able to make an appointment. I was told I’d have a call back after 3pm. I kept my phone by my side on loud for the entire day just in case he called before. I even took the phone in to the toilet with me. Eventually after 6pm I called the surgery to find out if the GP was going to ring me. The receptionist said the GP left a note saying he tried to ring me at 15.50. I have evidence that this is entirely false information. Unfortunately this is not the first time I’ve been made to feel insignificant and unimportant by this GP. What a waste of my entire day. Very upset and will be looking for a new surgery.
