I use e consult for a variety of services. I always get an email back confirming by query and when it will be dealt with. I order my prescriptions through e consult which are processed and sent to Pharmacy2U and I get a delivery within a week

All the receptionist have been brilliant, professional and very understanding from my breast cancer to my 3 year old granddaughter who after GP advice was taken to A&E, ENT tried to remove obstruction from her nose but unsuccessful. She was then taken to theatre to remove the biggest piece of cardboard the consultant had every removed from a child. Receptionist on the day did an excellent job in triaging my granddaughter.

Last time I rang I did what was asked and rang up early in the morning to get an emergency copy of a dnr for my mother as she had hospital transport in 2 days and they said she needed an original copy to ride. Nobody contacted me so chased it up a few times that day reassured earlier I didn’t need to see a doctor to get this. At closing time I rang a third time just to be told by the medical secretary I needed to see the doctor but obviously it was closing. The next morning half an hour before transport arrived the doctor rang and sorted one out. I had to rush up to surgery to collect it before transport arrived. Today I was up and ringing early due to needing mums oxygen levels checked. I was told the doctor would ring but never did. It ‘may’ have been one phone call I had that rang twice and didn’t give me the time to even answer before ringing off! I then opened up an email at 18:15 with an appointment from the doctor which was sent at 17:20 saying mum had an appointment in 10 minutes. Even if I got the email on time, mum wasn’t in a wheelchair and could drive it would’ve been impossible to get there. It’s a case of the doctor covering his back. Now I’ll need to go to a walk in centre 12 miles away on public transport and taxi with a wheelchair to get mum checked. It’s not good enough

Review titled Speedy and efficient

Fast response to the econsult, with a prescription sent to the pharmacy. Later, fantastic support from reception staff at 6pm on a Friday enabling a change to be made so I could collect the prescription before the weekend. Thank you for your help.

Mucked up my iron prescription, I cancelled it at the pharmacy and drs , realised what a doughnut I’d been , phoned them the following day to explain , really helpful and understanding, new script the following day . Top job

I felt I had to leave a review on this occasion - my mother has been receiving Palliative Care from a doctor at the surgery and as a family we cannot praise him enough for the care and kindness he showed to her. His assistant is of the highest standard I have ever come across in a surgery - again kind, helpful and extremely good at her job. Unfortunately my mother passed away yesterday but we felt we had to leave this review to show our appreciation. Janet Gray and family.

Review titled Can’t get to see anybody

This site has asked for a date I visited the practice, well chance would be a fine thing! The last two times I have needed a GP all the so called doctors have called me back and basically said go to the hospital, to urgent care, to sit around for about 5 hours to (guess what) see a GP! Making me waste hospitals time when they are already under enough pressure! At least see me to know if I have to go to the hospital and that it’s not something they deal with there. It’s a disgrace that you can’t see your own GP, the place is empty coz they’re all working from home in comfort, they should ashamed of themselves, this place is a joke! If you’re thinking of registering here don’t bother, you got more chance of winning the lottery than seeing a doctor!

I've had to review after hearing a couple winging about the services at the surgery.l have had nothing but good experience from every section of the surgery.ie receptionist,nurses, doctors and pharmacist. Can I just remind the winger's that all the staff are someone's mother, father, daughter,sister,aunt or uncle.and during this last few years they have managed to keep the surgery open.dont moan when you are not the first in the phone queue.its because there are many people needing the surgerys service.please show some compassion
