Very difficult to get appointments on the day. Have to queue up outside the door to get an emergency appointment, as phone line busy until all appointments gone. Very hard to get a face-to-face appointment. If you miss the call for a phone appointment, there is minimal chance of a call back, even if you phone the surgery to say you've had a missed call. When you do get to speak to a GP, the GPs are very good. But the process of getting an appointment in the first place is very difficult.

Braeside did have a wobbly period for a while, but things have really improved since COVID and the team have done a great job turning it around. I have to use Braeside a lot as I have several chronic conditions. I find the staff to be lovely people who are incredible helpful and often go above and beyond. I have dealt with everybody including doctors, nurses, HCA's, pharmacists and reception staff, and I'm amazed by the effort they all put in. You can get an appointment here incredibly easily and I have found you can get a prescription for a one off (like an infection for example) within hours of calling. You can also book appointments online, and order prescriptions online. I really love my GP practice and I think they do an amazing job!
