Yet another great experience with my GP. Not rushed at all, felt fully informed and offered choices. I’ve been a patient at Glebe for most of my life and can honestly say I have never had a problem. Great team of clinical staff and receptionists. Most GPs work incredibly hard, but these GPs are providing the best service and care to their patients and I can’t imagine how CQC have rated this a “requires improvement” practice. I get offered an appointment any time I call, any referrals, blood tests, prescriptions, all handled efficiently and safely for me and my family. CQC should be ashamed of the pressure they are placing on brilliant surgeries like this one. It makes a sham of the process. Clearly patient experience doesn’t matter to them, it’s a tickbox exercise and it will ruin good GPs if the process doesn’t change. Ignore this surgery’s rating. They couldn’t work harder for their patients and me and my family appreciate the care they provide very much. Thank you Glebe family practice! Your hard work is appreciated!

I am greatly impressed by the excellent service I always recieve. The receptionists are always helpful and I can always get through fairly quickly.The doctors are very hard-working and I cannot praise them highly enough!

Reception always very helpful. Have been with this doctors for years and my doctor is always very good. However recently made to feel undermined for coming for a personal matter with nurse practitioner. Very sensitive issue and was made to feel like I was wasting her time. No reassurance on the matter. This could be detrimental to other patients who are more anxious and would not feel inclined to come back. Luckily for me I have always had positive experiences with all other staff so I am aware this is a future option.

I have been a patient with this practice since 2003. I just want to say that I hvae consistently had an extremely good and responsive service throughout this time form all the doctors, nurses and other practice staff. I have had treatment for breast cancer, colon issues, skin queries, digestive questions and overall an array of things over the years. The practice has always responded quickly and very helpfully, treating me with respect and great care. I feel truly grateful to have been a patient with this practice, and cannot fault their service in any way. Indeed over and above, is my experience consistently and throughout. Thank you all

I would like to praise the doctors, nursing staff and the receptionist at the Glebe Family Practice. Whenever I have cause to ring the surgery I find them very polite and helpful and do their best to help. I feel I have been very well looked after with regular blood pressure monitoring, asthma checks, medicine reviews and have had a face to face appointment when it was required. Can't find enough words to say how wonderful they are and so pleased I transfered to this surgery many years ago.

An E.c.g. indicated I had a problem.Within 48 hours I was face to face with one of the G. P.s who carefully explained what the problem was an set up an appointment with a cardiac team.A few days later I was face to face with my usual G.P. who carefully explained what A/F is and set up medication for me.She then carefully explained to me details arising from my chest X-ray which I had taken on the same day as my E.C.G.Marvellous service! Have had the pleasure of joining this practice in the last 18mths and is by far the best surgery I have ever attended. I never have to wait long for the phone to be answered by amazing receptionists, they are so helpful and I always get a call back same day if necessary. This is how surgeries used to be run ! Please never change what you do so well! Every member I have met be it nurse practitioner,practice nurse or GP have been amazing. I feel very lucky to be on your list. Thank you for having me !
