    I rang the GP surgery at 0815 and was given an appointment at 1015 thd same day. I saw a practitioner and was given a call back later in hhd afternoon. I picked up my prescription the following morning. Staff were very courteous and helpful. The last time I contacted thd surgery I also received an excellent service.

    Given an appointment first thing after using the econsult at 7.00 attended the surgery was seen and treated promptly with care

    After filling in the e consult form was given a time of 3.45 for the surgery to call me, they didn’t. I called them back at 4.30 I was then told I should have gone to the surgery which was untrue, I now have to fill in the e consult all over again

    Our relative who has been living abroad and is in the last stages of a terminal illness has just returned to the UK to be with his family. Decision was made at short notice and we needed to hit the ground running to register him with a GP in order to access appropriate care. We feared delays as we know the practice is understaffed and were possibly a little tetchy with the people we spoke to given the very difficult situation for both the patient and us, his family. However, a palliative care practitioner from The Limes came round today, just 1 or 2 days after registering! And he was excellent, really helpful. He gave all of us some very good advice indeed. Very straight talking but then so is our relative so they understood each other well. Referral to Hospice Services was also made extremely promptly, they have already phoned with 24 hour contact number and are sending a hospice nurse round after the weekend (it is Friday now). We have all breathed a big sigh of relief. Thank you the Limes and thank you palliative care person, you have really helped equip us to handle things in the best way possible.

    I've called two weeks ago to get my blood checked out because both sides of my family suffer with blood clots. So I've told them my concerns and was told I will be given a call next day to discuss with doctor, and to make sure I'm by my phone so I don't miss the phonecall. Surprise surprise nobody called. So I have called again after 4pm (first time round they picked up the phone, and then put it down as usual)to be told that it's been passed onto hematology without actually speaking to the doctor in the first place. No apology given or reason why I haven't been called as promised. Today 30/01/2024 I have received a phonecall by the "doctor" to be told that hematologist is refusing to see me ( tho I haven't actually asked to be seen by one) and there weren't any other suggestions by this so called "doctor" other then live a healthy lifestyle. I hope you get shut down soon because you obviously not doing what you have signed up to do. Not good enough to say live a healthy life style. I don't smoke, don't eat meat and am skinny. If I had the choice to not contribute National insurance, then I wouldn't. NHS at this point of time doesn't deserve a penny from people. It's shambles

    I put in an E consult on monday 21 Aug 2023. Received an email saying someone would contact me by 6.30 on wednesday 23 Aug. No contact received. Rang the practice on thursday 24 Aug, told no bookable appointments could not say if anyone would respond to may e consult to call back after the bank holiday.

    I completed an E consult and was advised I would be contacted by the surgery the next day up until 6.30 pm. No call was received. I informed the surgery in a special section in their email . Waited an hour. When I phoned the surgery at 7.30 pm a recorded message advised the surgery was closed. The message then went on to say the surgery opens from 8 am until 8 pm on Thursday. My call was made on Thursday 27/7.

    The medical professional I saw was extremely animated and dramatic in telling me some results which caused me to become even more distressed as I was already feeling anxious. They used unprofessional language in describing my results also. They then proceeded to have a discussion regarding my results openly in the waiting room in front of other patients.

    Had some poor health over the last couple of years and needed the help and advice of a Doctor. On occasions you may have to wait for three weeks to a month for just a phons consultation, sometimes you have to wait until the next month's diary is open (start of the month) to then wait on the phone in a 40 minute cue to order a a telephone appointment. The ordering of medicine/prescriptions is farcical!! You have to go into the surgery, fill in a form, place it in the box provided, it says that you can collect this from Boots in Margate High Street within two to three days. A week later, I'm told that it is still with their HUB…. And will be arriving in two to three days!!?? The prescription goes from doctor,s receptionist to Boots…..Boots do not make up your package in Margate, your order is sent to a HUB?? To be sent back to Margate High Street Boots. Process time on more that one occasion…..10 days plus!!?? I do not want to talk to a receptionist about my condition!! People must get so poorer waiting for a prescription! It cost money to go into the surgery or to Boots Margate only to be told it's not here yet!! They say that you will be text when it arrives……no they don't. You can't get through on the phone?? Call at 8.00am when 400 others are trying to get through??? So If I'm working at 8.00am, I can't call…… The place is a shambles and a disgrace. Whoever oversees this practice needs to look at the reviews and listen to people…. Not keep changing things and thinking that people will fall for their unbelievable level of incompetance.

    I don’t wish to share much of my experience other than after finally getting a face to face appointment 8 weeks after a CT scan, then waiting for over an hour for my scheduled appointment, the locum didn’t listen to me, didn’t check my notes or results and sent me for another blood test that I’ve already had!! I would like the practice manager’s contact details please.

    Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback and raising your concerns. It is important that we hear from patients when they feel that things may have gone wrong so that we can learn and improve and are sorry for any upset caused. Unfortunately writing anonymous comments does not help us look in to points raised and help you as a patient or us as a surgery.
