I spoke to reception today. Great service provided. She took her time to listen to what I needed and provided what was required.

Dear review board,, Usually i don’t really do reviews but today i was very upset and disappointed with the behaviour of one of the receptionist, usually they are nice. I have two terminal ill children and I needed to reorder the medication but they were being extremely difficult telling me dr texted me to get a review for my son medicine? But i didn’t receive the texts. Now I need to make a review appointment and everyone knows how hard to get appointments. They won’t give me medicine without a review, my son has Duchenne muscular dystrophy an awful condition with no cure and progressive so why the review? My two sons have this condition and I have always had problems with the GP sadly the reviews of other gps are no better so i didn’t change the gp. I’m a polite person but they don’t understand the importance of my son getting that medication on time. Thank you from a very frustrated and angry client

I have been trying to get through on the phone today for over 3 hours. I was no 5 in the queue... 2 hours later I was no 1 then suddenly became no 9 in the queue. Dreadful system . How anyone gets an appointment at this surgery is beyond me. On previous occasions I have been assured the practice manager would call me... That hadn't happened. Overall if you can join another surgery I suggest you do because god forbid it's something serious... You'll be in big trouble. Thankfully this is not my surgery but I do need to speak with them regarding a family member..

Since 4 days now I have been trying to get an appointment for my parents but this has not been possible because even at 8am when the surgery opens the line announces unfortunately the lines are busy pls call back later…so how on earth do you get an appointment..my patients are old and my mum is disabled…I feel so sorry for them You can’t even get a later appointment because they have changed the rules it’s only on the day appointments !!! Although their website states otherwise! It’s so frustrating wasting everyone’s time

This practice appointments information is mis leading to patients because when you speak to the receptionist the system for appointments is altogether different…above all if you call at 8am for appointments, straight away you are told to call back later There’s too many calls coming through…my parents are disabled and it’s so difficult for th to get an appointment..I feel so sorry for them ..everyday I’m trying to help them and finding out how appalling their system is !!! I’m so glad I’m not with this surgery!!

Impossible to get appointment. I look at the clock and call 10second to 8 so i might be the first however their lines are busy at that time as well. I did on line consultion with the doctors name to speak to him and i get a physiotherapist call instead before i pick it up, its disconnected. Call the surgery where the receptionist is utterly rude and say i missed my appointment she can't do anything about it. I am already going for physiotherapy in the hospital and i said i need to see or speak to the doctor but after arguments she tell me oh ok someone will call you on friday waited all day with extreme pain for 2 days no one called. The receptionist in the surgery ard extremely rude and doesn't listen at all. Your referral are delayed.

Contacted for appointment for urgency, got online appointment after 5 days! On the day of appointment without physical checkup, gp send me message ‘symptoms looks like …. I have prescribed the medicine collect it from pharmacy’ If that was the response they should treat me on the same day! I had to rush to the hospital only for certain antibiotics. In fact the burden on the a&e is because of the go poor performance and timely treatment, otherwise I won’t be going to a&e Overall very dissatisfied from the local GP!!!!!

Was seen on time and was told i needed a blood test. While waiting to book a blood test I see the nurse and asked if could be done While I was there and she fitted me in straight away

Such a waste this place is. They referred my wife pregnancy to the hospital but after 5 weeks of waiting when I call the hospital to ask when we will start getting appointments from the hospital they told me that they haven’t got any referral for my wife from oak tree. I ended up doing the referral myself. The first appointment should be in between 8 to 10 weeks time for any pregnant girl and we have gone up from this period because of their mistake and also my wife has suffered some difficulties and infection in those 5 weeks and we were mostly hoping everyday we will get appointment today or tomorrow and will be seen by the hospital maternity department.
