It's the first time I have been to my GP since it was put in special measures and I could not believe the change. It is much improved and a calmer experience.

We have been coming here for years but for the past 5,6 years it’s been awful. Service is terrible. Giving an appointment for 4:30 it’s 5:00 still waiting? Why give an appointment then? I would understand 10 minutes waiting time but what is half hour? People come here for health reasons and making them sit on a chair for this long is ridiculous. I’m writing behalf of my mum she’s very ill and can’t sit for this long she needs to lay down why are we booking an appointment and come on time but won’t be seen on time? This is only one issue they never follow up anything. If a doctor searches symptoms on the internet is that normal i would do that myself at home. Nothing is chased up. But waiting time is ridiculous.!!! Something has to be done.

A few months ago I was diagnosed diabetic type 2 and within a very short time I was sent an appointment for diabetic eye screening and then soon after that I was invited to attend a diabetic self-management course. I thank CHMC for their swift actions and referrals so soon after my diagnosis. It seems the surgery is improving after a long period of poor performances and I hope this improvement continues. There is still much to be done but you're heading in the right direction. I wish you well.
