I was left in tears as I was trying to book an appointment via 111 and was also told to ring them also, the receptionist shouted at me saying I was “just trying to get a sick note” when I was already on my Xmas holidays and explained how I was coughing blood!! And wasn’t able to sleep for days due to a severe cough! When eventually I got an appointment the doctor said how glad I came in as always better in person especially with an issue like this. I don’t understand why I have to explain to them why I need an appointment and why it’s their decision, they said how 111 aren’t trained like them and don’t know anything! And continued to shout at me for following 111s advice

The practice was extremely flexible and went out of their way to help me with my request. They responded on the same day and the service was straightforward and smooth. Thank you so much!
