    I don’t think the appointments system works as well as some reviews suggest. My recent experience was that having waited two weeks for a personal appointment (unreasonable time?) it was cancelled on the day in favour of a telephone consultation that failed to materialise. I am now faced with the prospect of waiting two more weeks for a consultation. This is a totally unreasonable and unsatisfactory service which is caused by inefficiency.

    Dear Ian, I would like to start by apologising for your recent experience with the practice. Our standard pre-bookable appointments are available for two weeks in advance as is the case across the NHS. However, if you should ever have a more urgent issue arise that you feel needs urgent attention, please call in at 8 am and our reception team will be able to provide you with a same day appointment, face to face or telephone, whichever is your preference. We also have a duty doctor available every morning and afternoon, to see any patient with an urgent issue that requires a same day appointment but was unable to call in the morning. Unfortunately, sometimes due to staff sickness we must re-arrange schedules at the last minute which can mean that appointments are changed from face to face, to telephone or vice versa depending on clinic availability. We apologise that this was not convenient for you on the day you were due to be seen. It seems we have had mixed success with trying to contact you via your telephone number. We would like to invite you to contact us and speak to our reception manager Liberty so that we can discuss your concerns further and find out how better we can support you and your needs.     After having a meds review I had questions to ask the Dr and the Pharmacist, they took the time to talk through my concerns. I have found this surgery to be really supportive. The Receptionists are helpful and will refer to others if necessary. The e consult service is quick and I have gone back and if need be booked appointments. I really cannot fault the service I have received. Its excellent!!!

    Great service, if you feel you need to see a gp after a telephone triage the gp will give you an appointment same day. I have been with this practice many years and can’t fault the practice.

    The practice is very quick to respond and resolve medical concerns. E consult an excellent way to obtain a response without wasting time my time and adding pressure to the GP. I have found the Drs very helpful and will refer you on for further investigation. Reception staff are pleasant and helpful. 10 out of 10 overall!!!!! Really don't understand why people complain.
