  1. Review titled Appalling service all round!

Appointments are normally 2 weeks wait. No face to face option, phone apt only. No time is given, so if you fail to pick up after 2 rings you have missed apt. You call back, explain you just missed the call and get spoken to and made to feel (by one extremely unhelpful receptionist) like your wasting her time! Eventually get an appointment from the hub, told to collect form as need to have an xray on my feet. I drive to Harold Wood, wait for 20 mins to be told xray machine not working and to go King Georges, drive there, pay again for parking, wait 15 mins to be told my form is to xray my knees. If the GP had bothered to look at my notes, my knees were xrayed 2 months ago. The problem if the GP took the time and listen at the time of my consultant was my feet! Told by hospital to give letter back to surgery, make another apt to get correct form for feet. My wife called surgery explained what had gone on and the unwelcome reception she received from one particular receptionist was nothing but challenging, curt and unacceptable. This particular receptionist needs alot of training, focused on her people skills and her manner within her approach towards situations. So to summarise, i have now got to take back my letter, make another apt and start the whole process again! I suffer with anxiety and high blood pressure and i can honestly say this situation that i was placed in didn't sit well with my condition. This surgery needs to become more accommodating and flexible. Were post covid now so why is there still no F 2 F apts or a fixed apt time and a 2 week wait for an appointment?

  2. Review titled Good practice

Normally I’m happy with outcome over the phone or face to face. But yesterday I had a phone consultation and I have to say I’m really disappointed. I was awaiting what I believe an important call from the doctor but when talking to him he didn’t seem to know anything that had been going on. He gave me my blood results but should have known why I had so many done and of other tests that I have had. I put the phone down with less confidence in them than I would normally have had. He was also unaware of a letter sent by the Hubb so I’m afraid normally they are good which is why I have put down good and would normally recommend but not this time.

Hi Tina I was sorry to hear you were not satisfied with the recent telephone call to discuss your blood results. I have been able to discuss this matter with you in person and thankfully we were able to resolve your concerns.
