This practice has no Doctor since he went on sabbatical two years ago and now is not coming back. His patients have been sent to other clinics well out of the local area including me who is 75 years of age. I had been with the surgery for about forty years. So unfair.

  2. Review titled Rudeness overload!!!

Rated 1 star out of 5

Went for a face to face appointment this morning after at least two years of not consulting/seeing GP. I came for the assessment of my thyroid, discussing nicely with the doctor the situation, my medications and bloods. However I was extremely shocked and very upset the way he talked to me, he was rude and I feel humiliated especially when he said that I need to find another GP. He challenged me, I did not expect that at all. Instead of giving me health advise, he is not helping at all and gave me feeling of depression on that moment. I was registered with this GP for 13 years, though is wasn't perfect at all but I can say that previous doctor was good, he tries to listen and give you medical advise and interventions appropriately and well-mannered. But doctor today which I've only met for the first time humiliated, upset me terribly, and I feel depressed the way he treated me. I kept my composure and thanked him despite I've been shown an acceptable manner and did not ask for any interventions to investigate my thyroid since that I can feel a bump when touching it. I left the Surgery, however, I came back because I really feel heavy inside and upset, thinking that I do not deserved the way he treated me as a patient. I managed to change and registered to a new GP straight away this morning through the help of a another staff. I am in NHS for 20 years and still part of it and been rendering care to patients professionally with tender loving care (TLC).

  3. Review titled Impossible to appointment and prescriptions errors

Rated 1 star out of 5

Called on 30 Jan for urgent appointment for my mother who suffers with asthma and bronchitis, first appointment 13 Feb! Mum has been coughing all night and out of breath. Was told to call Hub or go to walk in centre. This surgery is passing and increasing pressure and workloads to other areas of the NHS. Also they have made multiple mistakes with my mum's prescription over the past couple of years. The whole surgery needs investigating.

  6. Review titled Worst practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been with this surgery for over a year and I have never been able to get an appointment. I need an urgent referral for my 6 year old daughter who has suspected sleep apnea and struggles to breathe at night. For over a year I’ve been trying to get an appointment with the gp for my daughter. I call at 8am every morning but when it gets to my turn they say appointments are full. I can’t even get a telephone consultation. I have contact 111 and out of hours service but they all say that this is a matter for my GP because he needs to refer my daughter to a specialist. I am very frustrated as this practice does not care about even children! I have decided now to look for a new practice.
