    Today I felt like I was in the shop trying to buy a product with a ver bad customer service. GP practice receptionist need to understand that they are also front line staff, they are the face of whatever happens behind. The service was horrible, the was no care no compassion no empathy, the words they used towards me was harsh very aggressive behaviour. The receptionist needs to understand that they are dealing with peoples life, they need to put them selfs in the patients position. instead of blocking patients from accessing the service - receiving the care that they need, this is how I felt. I am so disappointed with the practice that I actually arrived home and changed the GP. After 5 weeks post- partum trying to get an appointment and getting different advice over the phone to finally walk in still struggling from a difficult c- section recovery receive a very aggressive reception. It was literally sad. I cannot emphasise how disappointed I am with the service.

  2. Review titled No way to book an appointment

    I tried online, I get an error so I called them in the morning. They stated that I need to call at 2pm. I called at 2pm and they told me I need to call the next day at 8am and insisted that I do the booking online, even if I told her several times that is not possible. It is impossible to pre-book. Why?! Some of us are working full time and can’t get time off whenever they want, even more in the same day. Very disappointing…

    I received a text from the surgery to say I had to book an appointment for a blood pressure check etc, I went into the surgery in person but was told by the receptionist that I have to telephone the surgery at 8.00am or 2.00pm to book an appointment ?? As this appointment would be either with the Practice Nurse or Healthcare Assistant I don't understand why I couldn't arrange an appointment in person for a future date. Its a nightmare trying to get through on the telephone even with their new telephone system, last time I had to call in for something it was 45 minutes before my call was answered! Unfortunately when you are told you can't book in person by the receptionist you are left with no other choice but to hold on. I don't know what's happening at this practice , I think the CQC need to look into this.

    Why is their own practice website so out of date and full of now irrelevant information? Looks like their page has not been updated since the Covid Pandemic in 2020. It's very confusing and still shows the same rules they implemented around that time along with all GP Practices. It's just not good enough. We are told look "on our practice website" when you have a query only for it to be years out of date! Its just not good enough , we as patients have a right to expect to be able to have access to correct information. Someone needs to take responsibility for this and the Practice Manager should be checking that this is done and that any new information is available to patients.

    Whether a review or medical issue, treated with respect, listened to. Last visit was for a review of an ongoing condition. All checks undertaken, through questioning on managing condition. Genuine interest, in what I had to say and relevant advice given. Nurse very knowledgeable, reassuring and puts you at ease. Would throughly recommend.

    I have recently joined this practice and have been for my Asthma review today. I have never had such a good review as I had today. I have learnt quite a lot regarding my inhaler and the nurse was very informative and helpful. Thank you.

    My wife and children were at the clinic for their new medical check up. This Healthcare Assistant (cant remember her name) was exceptional and very detailed. She even introduced the NHS Healthcheck to my wife and explained what it was all about and encouraged her for blood tests. I myself never heard of the NHs health check. Well done HCA

    I'm a Type 2 Diabetic and was recommended a new treatment to aid weight loss in December 2022. The practice Nurse carefully monitored my progress every 4 weeks for 6 months. As a result, in 6 months I've been able to lose over 3 stones in weight and have significantly reduced my blood sugars to a Pre-Diabetes range. I'm very grateful to the practice for the care and attention given during the process, and especially by the care given by the practice Nurse.

    Rude receptionists useless practice manager doctors show know respect to patients left became fed up with such a bad service now with a very caring practice very caring this could be but until attitudes change it never will prescription arrived without notice same doctor stopped meds been using for over 40 years years sayong was to dangerous but wouldnt tell me himself got a reeceptionist to do it and another doctor forgot to refer me leaviing me in pain for months
