I saw a lovely doctor 4.10 concerning my breathing. A prescription for a week received. Examination undertaken. Today 16.10 breathing a problem. Telephoning Receptionist brisk. Booking 10.11 or call tomorrow 8.00. I didn’t understand what the reference to 8.00 meant and since my breathing is vital (to me anyway) November is too far off, I cut off the call. There was no reason to continue. I got the distinct impression that that was the intention. It has dented my previous experience, when the arrangement was so good. This was a Receptionist from the dark days. Extremely disappointed. Do these Receptionists have any medical training. For me, on this occasion, a phone call from a doctor would have been helpful.

I am in the process of complaining to the Ombudsman that regulate them, they are the worst of the NHS whom I generally hold in high esteem, unfortunately this practice are an absolute nightmare, specifically exceptionally long hold times to get through to unprofessional rude individuals who either cannot or do not help at all. Refusing to give appointments or even repeat prescriptions that have been issued by a hospital. I have been in extreme pain for over a week which is affecting my mobility massively I rang 111 on Monday and followed their advice and went to A&E who despite a very long wait were very thorough but said that they couldn't do anymore to help me without an MRI and that process has to be initiated by my GP. They gave me a weeks worth of pain medication advising a GP appointment so I called was placed on hold for 40 minutes to be told I'd rung the wrong time for an appointment and even refused to give me a repeat prescription. This unfortunately is not an isolated incident I actually dread having to contact them.

All I want to be able to do, is book an appointment with a GP. Any GP. But told I have to phone back on the 18th Oct, when I then can book with a Dr? I asked for an appointment today with a Dr, but found out it was with a physio? That's not what I asked for, I want to speak to a Dr! It shouldn't be this hard and I don't agree with being asked too many questions over the phone, when I'm not speaking to a qualified clinician. Something is wrong with the system!

After reading the reviews on beechwood I wanted to write to say my experience with the GP’s I have spoken with have been excellent and extremely understanding with each of my health issues

The week before Christmas I tried 3 times to get a appointment to see a GP. Each time same answer call back tomorrow or call 111 which in the end I did took another 24 hours to get antibiotics nobody has seen me so if 111 could issue them why not my own GP huge surgery alway empty awful place

Happened twice this week, reception staff seem not willing to help at all and rude at the same time. As we've been with the same surgery for a bit, even things which are usual, are being refused initially, only after being persistent we are able to go past reception. Such a shame
