My GP that attended to me this morning 23/04/2024 was so kind, gentle a good listener. The Nurse that did my blood test this morning 23/4/2024 was so professional gentle kind and caring.

I have been registered with Shirland medical since August 21. I have a number of medical issues and need regular support from the surgery. This is one of the best practices I have ever had. In fact I have recommended this surgery to a friend who lives local and struggles with her GP. The reception staff address me by my first name and remember me even though they deal with many different patients. The surgery uses technical/ computer equipment really well, like text messages for updates and the online portal where I can book appointments and order repeat prescription. They have a pharmacist at the surgery who deals with repeat prescriptions very quickly. I see the same GP at each appointment which really helps with my anxiety at appointments. When problems arise they are dealt with very quickly. The surgery does blood tests and ECGs (from experience I know this isn't the case for all GP surgeries). Test results come back very quickly. All the staff I have come in contact with (reception, nurses, health care assistants, GPs, pharmacists) have shown me empathy and compassion and professionalism. I'm very grateful to all the staff at the surgery for doing their jobs so well during an extremely difficult time for the NHS due to lack of resources. Many thanks to everyone!

Lovely Doctors surgery with fantastic doctors and nurses. Never a long wait for appointments and always helpful when you call. Highly recommended!

I was impressed with how the doctor went into detail, doublechecked what medicine I was taking didn’t feel like I was being rushed only actually sounded like he genuinely invested in my health

My doctor is 100% professional, caring and understanding, takes time to listen and advise on any problem, the reception team at the health centre are also great.

The practice has been monitoring my husband for a potential condition given family history. Changes were picked up quickly and the team leapt into action. My husband had a succession of examinations, scans and appointments over the busy Christmas period and was given a date for an operation soon after that. He has since had the op and the co-ordinated follow up is continuing in the same efficient manner. We are so grateful for the care and prompt attention shown to us throughout this experience so far. Thank you!

I had a fantastic and productive appointment this morning. The practitioner was very friendly and had reassuring answers to all of my questions. I have been coming to this practice for over 50 years and I am continually impressed. Thank you!

I am a new patient and so far the experience with the practice has been great. Very clean premises, the staff is respectful and nice and doctors listen to you carefully and take their time to visit you. I would highly recommend this practice

I’ve been going to this practice since I was child and the staff and service are nothing short of amazing and professional. Even with restructures to the organisation, and the epidemic, the new doctors and nurses are a credit and shown great resilience. Thank you all for your continued service, patience and overall kind nature.

I’ve been going to this practice for 15 years and my experience is very positive. All staff and doctors provide excellent service, receptionist are very pleasant, helpful, and the doctors are efficient, they take time to assess properly and listen to you. And I like the functionality of the new premises, very clean and spacious. Although there is a bit of waiting time before you can see a doctor. But it’s worth the wait and I think it’s pretty normal. “It’s a friendly and well organised practice”
