A few years ago this GP practice was brilliant with a very family friendly environment, plus you knew which GPs actually worked on which days such a shame its all change now and more like pot luck if you see the same one twice. This makes follow up sketchy and diagnosis for treatment missed and in my case wrong treatment, wrong information which could have led to a more serious outcome for me. the more you complain the more of a problem they label you as and you then become that pest who only wanted a simple check up

Review titled Not Compliant with NHS Directions on GP Registration

Refused to register my child because of lack of visa proof. Said that the practice's owner demanded that level of proof. NHS' own website says that you do not need proof of address or immigration status to register with a GP. This practice is clearly not compliant with this NHS directive. Avoid Practice if possible, many others very nearby. Don't let them earn money off your back for being registered there.

Doctors change continually change and no continuity. Reception staff are dismissive and don't inform patients about changes to hospital referrals. For some reason their is an expectation from them for you know how the system medical system works, never know if I'm looking on Dr's website or Patient knows best, to find details about changes, or follow ups, reception staff are unwilling to explain or advise and say not my job..

Thank you for your response. We are sorry you felt you had this poor experience. It is important we hear from patients when things go wrong as this can help us learn and make improvements. We have had no change in GP's, but due to unforeseen circumstances we may use locum's from time to time. We have recently recruited 2 new members of the Reception and Administrative team and we always try to help patients as best we can. very disappointed with this surgery Dr do not like to see you face to face and they will do everything over the phone not even video call. I had some pain and Dr send me to A&E instead of look face to face then decide for A&E. receptionist are very rude as well. I do understand due to Covid 19 everything out of control, but it does not mean you can ignore your patients. You cannot get an appointment and they advice to go to Hospital. what is the point of getting GP if I have to go to Hospital. you do need to improve you surgery. I hope you can improve the service as you are not providing free service. Do not make Covid 19 Excuse!!

Thank you for your comments. I was sorry to hear of your experience, it is important that we hear from patients when things have gone wrong, as this can help us learn and make improvements. We are currently seeing patients face to face and also for telephone triage. We have recruited a new Receptionist and a new Administrator and I know they try there best to help patients.
